wrong you rotate if you have the quality on the bench too, just because we are around the top 4 doesn't mean we have the quality on the bench like they do, we don't have the likes of willian, mata, fernandinho, Wilshire etc. to step in. If he wants to rotate buy quality in January until then play with the best XI you have at your disposal.

are Newcastle rotating the likes of Cabaye with obertan? no as they don't have the strength on the bench too and its paying off for them we on the other hand have just lost at home to the worst side in the league ravaged with injuries because we insist on mr model pro week in week out. Seriously when moyes and Neville ****ed off I thought those days were over

So, you are basically saying you would play the same starting XI until we get some decent players in January?
In case you haven't notice we've got 5 games in 2 weeks, players are gonna get tired, rotation is inevitable, it's part of the game. Form drops and players become ineffective when they get tired, they are human not machines. Osman just made a stupid mistake that's all there is to it, he is not as good as our other CMs but he could have handle Sunderland no problem, again, it was a stupid mistake. We were having something close to 80% of possession and completely dominating prior to the red card.

Then again I would be extremely happy if we got another CM in January, someone like Fernando or Natkho. Still Roberto made the right decision.

Roberto made a big mistake here. You should always play your strongest team, if players need a rest then have a break from training.

Said it before Osman is rubbish and should never be in the starting line up when ever he is things go wrong admittedly he has had a few good moments but overall has mostly bad moments. bet we could not even sell the buggar in Jan.

Said previuosly there are no easy games yet some on here were suggesting 3-1 to Everton!!

if they do fair enough replace them but Barkley hasn't an didn't look tired today, whereas Lukaku who does look tired isn't rested, that too me makes me worry if RM is in fact trying to shield barkley from the media frenzy in fear of losing him as he certainly doesn't look tired and he's in top form right now so unless Osman is just the blue eyed boy like nev was then their is no other explanation.

Have fun in the championship next season...

one more thing, will you cry when you get relegated?

Ha Ha! There's only 7 points between 11th and bottom. We've had 5 clean sheets in our last 8 league games, we've lost just 3 games in our last 10. Continue to underestimate us by all means.:dancing:

You can't blame the reaction of the sunderland fans judging by how cocky some of us were prior to the game. However, osman has been crucified on here, even though it is debatable whether there was any contact at all for the pen. Lets face it hindsight is a great thing, but equally to blame for our defeat today was the performances from miralles and piennar(although miralles did have an excuse, he was unwell) On a more sobering note, they will get relegated and us getting 1 point out of palace and sunderland will ultimately cost us a top 4 position I feel.

People saying its more Howards fault are wrong IMO. Both to blame 50 50
Foreign teams can pass it out like that, seen Vallecano and Bayern do that all the time and get away with it probably better teams at passing the ball but so should we.

Atmosphere was shocking when it was 0-0 then when they scored people started singing (y)

I'll give you my car and 5grand if you stay up.
Look how bad you played when we had 10 men mate, that just proves how bad you are

Give it a rest

A lot on here thought we would smash these by just turning up

Credit to them for holding on and seeing the job out, They also could and should have had more goals

We are getting to big for our boots imo after achieving nothing

Moyes out......er no Martinez out.....er.....

it certainly negates the 4 points from our away trips in 1 week to OT and Emirates. We basically need to re-start momentum again and I think we are looking very tired. United came back from 2-0 to win at Hull today. Newcastle look likely. We need an injection of energy in January (and Del-boy back!!)

Today felt a bit like a watershed moment. After they went 1-0 and we went down to 10, I felt that if we came back to win it then we'd not only come top 4, but Sunderland would definitely be down. As it stands, I reckon Sunderland will stay up and we'll finish outside top 4.

We need a top January transfer window.
