I feel sorry for any Sunderland fan who thinks they deserve that win today. I have never seen such a lack of imagination from a football team at Goodison, not even when we've had Heitinga at CM.

Delighted the team were applauded off, they deserved that response for their fantastic attitude. Its unfortunate we couldn't score at least one but I am by no means in a state of panic over today.

EDIT: Well done, Poyet. Nice to see some honesty. He knows how lucky they've got today.

What happened mate?

In short, Stoke battered Newcastle in the first half an hour and went 1 up. Whelen then gets sent off after two soft yellows, Mark Hughes goes nuts and gets sent to the stands himself. Three minutes later, Wilson gets a straight red for a foul on Remy when he was last man but Sorensen saved the resulting pen.

Newcastle ended up winning 5-1 anyway. Stoke played with 9 men for the entire second half.
