Totally uncalled for. That entire exchange was all down to Osman, Howard was in no way at fault. Howard's been in arguably in best form in an Everton shirt this season.

Osman shouldn't be getting so much crap, mistakes happen. It's really tough not to criticize him however when he starts over Barkley, which admittedly isn't his fault.

He is instructed too and he should but I'm sure he's experienced enough to know that by passing straight down isn't as good an idea as passing it sideways is. Howard for me was being too cheeky and it hit him back.
As for Osman's selection. I agree with it cos the last thing you need is another injury to your spark player after Deulofeu's injury. He's 20....playing his first full season and he needs to be looked after and considering it was Sunderland any manager would have thought Osman was decent enough player to fill in. Its not like Martinez picked a 36 year old Neville for Barkley.

Proper gutted about that today, the red hurt more than the goal, Howard should of let him go, 1 down with 11 on the pitch could easily of been sorted.

With the whole Howard-Osman fiasco, they're both equally at fault IMO.

Although I'd have rather Howard step to one side and let Ki walk it into the net rather than bring him down and get sent off. But alas hindsight has 20/20 vision.

One thing....You should never change a winning team, yes players get injured or tired now and again, thats why there payed big bucks but lady fate will find another way to kick your ass if u rest players...That said it was ozzys fault not tims or Martinezs.
