Fast losing the love for Miralles, Pienarr too!
Delmonte can't really play against big strong men yet either.
Other than that, I thought it was an interesting and useful game.

First up kudos to Chicoazul on a great pre-match write-up, well written and very informative (better than any proffessional report I have read leading up to the game).
All things considered 0-0 was a fair result. We had the first half and maybe deserved a goal, but the first half typifies us all season, domination without creating that much. As for the second half thought it was nip and tuck until Sandro came off, from then on it was all you guys. That said you to didn't generate any clear cut chances too.

I, as many Spurs fans, have a soft spot for Everton. I think the origins in this are we share similarities in our respective W****r neighbours.

I do have to say that the level of booing is off the scale. When you guys get going there is no better noise in the Prem, I recall you lot against Man City last year (think that was the right game) it was fantastic. But the level of negativity and booing everything has left us Spurs fans somewhat amazed, to the point it was the main source of discussion on the way home (probably because the game was not a classic). Anyway, it is not my intention to provoke you by saying this but can understand why it might.

Best of luck for the season, you have the support of many Spurs fans (so long as you don't get into the top 4 trophy at our expense). Just sort out that booing your letting yourselves down.

If Defoe started, you would have scored.

To be honest our big debate is who, what, how we play upfront. Soldado is winning the debate by a small margin but the real problem is getting the ball to the centre forward rather than who should play there.

I think Gibson will be a big miss for us.

I think he is better than Barry at that sitting role. Barry has a bit of a headless chicken thing about him at times, and loves to dive in. Good player though.

Gibson seems to be quicker with the pass and more forward thinking.

Hello mate. Can't disagree with most of what you said. I was struck by how physically dominant Spurs where - bigger, faster, stronger. Like you say, when Sandro went off, you lost some of that midfield dominance.

As for the booing, the referee had a shocker. We were under the cosh from Spurs who started really well and the referee seemed to give everything to Spurs. You're right, the booing seemed to build with each incident including the booking Howard for dissent then letting numerous Spurs players get away with worse including Sandro almost squaring up to him at one point, the ref choosing to 'not see' Soldado elbow Jags in the ribs and then booking Lukaku for the incident with Lloris when it was clearly an accident.

I think we all get poor referees at times, but Kevin Friend raised the bar for absolute gashness

If you have heard or even seen the ref before, he will be gash.
Surely they will be some decent refs in lower leagues?

Always my favourite games of the season against spurs. unfortunately the game didnt live up to previous games we have played against each other, hopefully white hart lane will be a classic. As for the booing it was all at the ref but i was a bit surprised when some of our fans booed at the final whistle instead of clapping the teams then booing as the ref was walking off.

Just wanted to say lads, having been to the Hull match and the Spurs match yesterday, it was an absolute pleasure to finally get to Goodison Park. It was a dream come true, honestly. To all the lads in the Upper Gwladys two weeks ago and Park End 2 yesterday, thanks for making a Yank feel more then welcome. Now to count the days down until I can get back (probably years rather than days).

On the game itself, I thought we were really, really poor in the first half putting in maybe our worst half of football since our ****show agains Robbie's Wigan team last year. The second half was better, especially once those proactive subs were made. Honestly, I don't think that Spurs side is all their made out to be, all style and no substance, notably from that awful diving cheat Soldado. Finally, I thought, as you all must as well, that the officiating was terrible throughout, absolutely terrible.
