Ok we're out of this cursed competition again but the worrying thing for me is that Southampton are absolutely woeful and we should be beating them comfortably. But the biggest worry is we can't defend, they had a couple of corners in succession that we just didn't defend. It's got to stop FFS!

Did you really think we would win something, I'm not sure really that Silva is much of an upgrade of what we had before, well his ideas don't seem to be. We still see Snides getting game time as well as DCL they are 2 players that shouldn't even be here, Snides should have been sold and DCL should be on loan somewhere, who's daft idea to keep him rather than Vlasic? Cenk is ok at times but isn't the answer we desperately need a quality striker (but who?) our team what ever players always seems out of sync and it's been like that for a very long time now.

The club clearly doesn't prioritise this tournament

I won't be attending Milk Cup games anymore until the club adequately displays that they care about winning it as much as we do as supporters

Losers find a way to lose, and we are such specialists in failure. I don't know how we reverse almost 30 years of abject failure. Fairly certain that there is no one at the club capable of doing it.

sorry for repeating myself but:

Martinez got sacked for four at the back, two DMs, one up front meaning we were slow and didnt create that much but were bad in defence

how on earth have we got in the situation where the managers change, the players change, even the DoF changes and yet we are playing in the same way year after year even though we are getting worse?

We had about 4 clear cut chances to score tonight. So, we are certainly creating.

Not win something perhaps.. But give it your best shot is not a lot to ask is it.
Play your best team and see that happens.
Been realistic a full team tonight and change v Leicester would make more sense

Fuming after that. Never gonna change. Let's have it right as well, we won on Saturday because Fulham were absolutely turgid. Slight upgrade in opposition tonight and we can't put them away. They made changes as we did...simply not good enough.

Absolutely no excuses for not starting with the team that won on Saturday .Silva will be heavily criticised for the changes he made and rightly so.defeat on Saturday will heap alot of pressure on him
