1) Fellani is a dirty **** who should be sent off
2) definate penalty turned down from nolan
3) outplayed you for 60 minutes

Cancelled out the penalty on Fellaini then. No wonder Felli elbowed the cnut later on, he was climbing all over him every time he got in your box. And as for outplaying us, it'd very easy to outplay a team that isn't playing. Make the most of it matey, we'll still be above you come the end of the season, and we'll put the record straight at your place.

We started the game alright and it looked like Arteta was finally getting back to his best, just turning in midfield and dictating play. That lasted 10minutes, before it all went wrong. I think every single player was having a really bad game, couldn't make one pass without it being overhit or inaccurate.

On top of this, our defense looked a real mess. Not just the defensive line - Newcastle just walked through our midfield to get in front of our defense, there was just a ******* massive gap between midfield and defense, because our mids which should be playing deep were just all over the ******* pitch. The team over the years has been built on solidity, the way we make it impossible for teams to break us down. I think those days are behind us, we've converted to a more attacking style hoping that the defensive side would remain as solid as it had been over the years. That hasn't happened unfortunately... defense needs work.

We were [Poor language removed] in possession. Couldn't play the ball properly... ever! Just [Poor language removed] passes everytime, it was so painful to watch. I thought the halftime subs would make more impact than they did. I can't say I thought Coleman did well, because he didn't unfortunately, I thought he looked too scared to attack Newcastles fullbacks at times. Yak was ok I guess, better than Beckford it has to be said. I'd really like Beckford to come good and obviously I think he should be given time, but that time can't be given when we're in this sort of position, because he's been [Poor language removed] and we can't afford to be starting [Poor language removed] players at this moment in time. I don't think we play to his strengths either, but he's also woeful on the ball - I'd be disappointed if he started the next game, unless it was in a 4-4-2.

We need Cahill and Anichebe. I think Vic is the answer to the right hand side in the long term, not Coleman but that said, if Rodwell got a start ahead of Osman on the right, then Moyes must surely know that side of the pitch is just a ******* disgusting rat in a bowl of chocolate mousse. Cahill, our talisman, drives our team on and we missed him yesterday fo sho.

I can't think of much else, other than Moyes needs to grow some balls. He keeps talking about this strong squad, but he doesn't use it... tries the same [Poor language removed] over and over. We have played well with this team before and no doubt yesterday was a once off with how woeful it was, but there are players who shouldn't be getting into our team and others who should be sacraficed to experiment and hopefully find a WINNING team.

We all had such high hopes for this season and its slowly fading away. Theres still a long way to go and I'm sure we'll come ood soon, but at the end of the day, we've dropped a lot of points already which we shouldn't be dropping. Disappointed.

Good post, I thought the same, he started really well in first 10-15 minutes, but everything went wrong from then on. A lack of space, poor passing and awful movement from the forward players, it was just terrible all round really.

Why Coleman came on at right back I'll never know, he's being brought on to change a game, why put him up against Newcastle's most dangerous player in Ben Arfa? Madness really. He should have been brought on for Osman.

Beckford was poor but we don't play to his strengths at all. He's not a hold up player, he doesn't have the physical presence to occupy two centre backs and he's a player who thrives off balls into space. The only half decent pass he got all game was from Arteta in that 10 minute period. Other than that, nothing.

What he needs is a Van Der Vart, Arshavin, Rosicky, Modric, Wilshire, Scholes, Lampard, Fabregas type player that threads balls through defences for him to run on to.

Our system is all wing play and a striker who can hold the ball up. When neither of them happen...we have NOTHING.

This. We have 2 players who can do that on a regular basis, one of them is sitting too deep, the other is wasted on the bench. God knows why we didn't vary our attacking approach. We pass the ball aimlessly around sometimes hoping to create some space to float in an aimless cross. That's our one and only game plan. We need to overhaul our attacking approach. This kind of tactic is too easy to defend.

Im not a Beckford fan but even I have to admit he was making some good runs that were never spotted as we generally tend to go wide (mainly left) rather than through the middle.

I cant think of a time when we used to thread balls through the middle...its not our style.

And if its not our style and we rely on wing play....at least have someone who can effin cross. We have Baines and Bilya who can...and one of em never plays

2) definate penalty turned down from nolan
3) outplayed you for 60 minutes

And Williamson loves hugging grown men and we should've had 2 peno's.

Oh and it was a good tackle by Coleman....so Bah! Go eat a pie.

It is all down to the manager. The squad is half decent - far better than relgation fodder.

Moyes moved the blame to the players, when he should be on top of morale and motivation.

Be prepared for a long hard winter.

The club needs to a new high revenue stadium ASAP with rapid-transit rail acess to ensure enough money for players.

Hi, I'm doing a survey and need some answers please:

1 - Did you write that with your shoes on or shoes off (for the toon)?
2 - Do you find that being half Scottish gives you an advantage when trying to sell in call centres?
3 - Do you still consider yourself the most massive club in the history of fusbal?
4 - How was the Championship?
5 - Male ear ring and crap tattoos?

You're rapidly becoming one of my fave posters, you're ace.

Just.

Fantastic.

Well that result ruined my whole weekend...
Had big plans to go out and party last night, but instead stayed home and sulked..(n)
You thinks its possible for future seasons to appeal to the FA to make all our fixtures the late match on Sunday or Monday night, so that way I can feel like sh1te during work, since I already do?

or ask the fa if we could start the season at Christmas time! then we might have a chance!

The ref had a Newcastle top on for the 90 minutes, I'm sure he gave you enough decisions.

And you signed up just to say that? Pathetic.

The ref was really bad and shouldnt be allowed any more games in the premiership. To say he had a newcastle top on for 90 min its just stupid, then I dont think u were watching the right game mate.

Fellani could easily been sent off instead of given a yellow card, imo it was a red card or nothing. Cant be justifyed by saying Williamson climed him, it is still a red card offence. It should also been a red card on Coleman? when he took the feet of Nolan. He also had several challenges wrong for both teams, and how on earth could he be a ref in one of the best leagues in the world.

IMO from the start it looked like a draw, it was just a moment of magic from Ben Arfa that made us win the game.

I dont think you guys will be relegated, but according to this forum it seems like Moyes has lost the supporters and watching yesterday it seems like he started to loose the squad aswell. I think you are in the same situation as we(Newcastle) were in when we fired Sir Bobby Robson. At that moment he had lost some of the fans, and some of the squad(see dyer++). You need to ask yourself is there a better manager out there for you than Moyes? You might end up like we did, with Souness or a Souness kind of manager. IMO I think you will manage a top 10 pos with Moyes, but its vital that Cahill is playing and not injured..

I have nothing against Everton supporters, and I really hope you trash liverpool big time this season!
