Hello mate I am making very rational retorts to your incorrect position using examples and data to back up my stance.

I'm deeply sorry you interpret this as me struggling here because two people have agreed with you. Although that could be an insult or personal attack no?

My point is that if any Evertonian watched Ross Barkley last night they would be very foolish and trite to criticise his game.

We won 3-0, he scored two and was man of the match in pretty much everyone's book. One reading the match thread last night I noticed some Evertonians maybe we're a bit foolish in their criticism of him so that's what I seek to address with you now mate.

when you find the scathing report that i wrote up about him then come back to me. when you have proof he didn't keep losing the ball when trying to shoot, come back to me.

In fact when you find anything that is a critique of his passing/tackling/positioning/goalkeeping/managing even then come back to me.

but failing to even mention the only thing i am saying and throwing stats at me for something else is just an agenda.

Ross Barkley was immense last night. And has been for ages.

Barkley is quality, will be our best player for a long time. Really good first half, but there was about a 15 minute window last night where he played, arguably, the worst football of his life.

2 THAT LASCELLES CHAP WHO BROUGHT BARKS DOWN FOR THE SECOND PEN WAS WOEFUL BUT ALSO THAT SLY COMMENT IN BARKS' EAR JUST AS HE WAS ABOUT TO TAKE THE FIRST PEN, THATS LOW, AUSTRALIAN STYLE SPORTSMANSHIP IMO. FULL KUDOS FOR BARKS NOT REACTING TO HIM WHEN HE SCORED THOUGH.
