Long may our players be frustrating if they're our best player in three games in one week and score four goals.

You deserve Heitinga in midfield mate, and keep on and don't worry his ilk will be back.

Heitinga has retired mate, but you wouldnt know that because you dont play FM2016 like all us European nerds :p

The reason i mention ross and his frustrating style is because he is capable of so much more, even if he has had a good week, i like many believe that he has so much more to offer, if you were to compare some of the best like Silva and Mata, then you will notice how they release the ball early and create (god forgive me for saying this phrase) a new phase of play, ross for me keeps it too long or is afraid to shoot at times, now you can get all defensive over it but its true, the drive against city in the 2nd leg is prime example of what he can do instinctively when he doesnt hold the play too long. Again i mentioned that he could do with some help because its only really Romelu ahead of him as a option/outlet sometimes.

What was his passing completion rate last night mate, do you know? I honestly don't but I presume it's high.
I did see it, chico, but I forget. The stats on Fox compared him to his direct Newcastle oppo and I think Ross's weren't as good. I think
Ross's were 80%.

While I'm here, I don't think you combatants are that far apart with your opinions, and it's not worth arguing about, imo.

Ross Barkley was immense last night. And has been for ages.
He also didn't score when he spent 10 seconds shimmying the ball about on the edge of the box.

I'm not slagging him off for that, happy to see him drive towards goal, but needs to be an end product from it if he does it 5-6 times a game.

Whats this?

Mob mentality? Same people piling on one poster that chico bothered to try his WUM agenda on? How shocking!

Barkely scored two pens, that were just terrible tackles, but that doesn't matter eh?

Again the woodwork references, just like the alternative league tables over on RAWK? IT didn't go in, ergo it wasn't a goal. And before you jump on what i said about mitrovic, i never once created a hyperthetical situation about it, just that people wouldn't be buzzing off ross losing the ball so much if it was 1-1 at the time.

No mate, the mob is pulling me up, someone has already mentioned exactly what ross was doing in the game so clearly i'm not the only one who saw him sizing shots up. So well done there! If its not one of your mates it doesn't matter though eh?

Except i'm not, unless ross had a perfect game and did nothing wrong, and he didnt try to size a shot up several times and lose possesion last night?

Ahh so he didnt have a perfect game? So he didn't do everything perfectly? So there were flaws to his game? SO someone commenting on said flaws last night wouldn't be out of place for doing so?

I'm wrong that barkley lost possession a few times last night by simply lining a shot up? So that didn't happen eh? either he did or didn't, if he did then i'm not wrong and this is you trying your WUM agenda again because you are bored

Happy clapper isnt an insult either, especially when it is used in the context of shooting someone down who isn't completely positive about the team/board/manager, which, i believe you are doing right now.

So no personal insults, try again :)
You aint Rocky Balboa lad, you've hit your limits. You didn't make much sense to begin with and now that your head is spinning you're making even less.

Criticism for the sake of criticism is just silly man.

But it isnt for the sake of it though, he does that against stoke too much and it would cost us. He needs to make the pass more and only drive on goal when he can see it clearly, which when he does he actually scores from it. Compared to shimmying a centre half last night every time and they can stand their ground with him.

It isnt critisism for the sake of it when it was his runs that caused the penalties, it was his controlling of the midfield that blew newcastle out the water, and it isnt critisism for the sake of it when the only thing i am commenting on is the times he kept losing the ball doing the same thing going for goal.

Hello mate he has just scored four goals in three games in one week and been our best player in all three of those games.

Nice end product.

Hello mate see below.
that is a fair point, even if you dont want to admit it.

If mitrovic had scored then barkley losing possession last night would have a lot more people in and out the ground fuming instead of, you know trying to create a goal to win the game.

Perhaps he was more cocky on the fact we were winning, but if we weren't (which to be fair most other strikers would have buried that chance) then there would be a lot more fume about it.
