Hello mate he has just scored four goals in three games in one week and been our best player in all three of those games.

Nice end product.
Aye, two penalties and a league 2 team?

this is the newcaslte QPR situation all over again. 'oh yeah lad, martinez is a fantastic manager because we beat two teams that keep getting beat'.

I have not said once about ross being a bad player, simply commenting on his performance LAST NIGHT and the fact he kept losing possesion when sizing up a shot. In fact that is the only thing i have said negative about last nights game!

that is a fair point, even if you dont want to admit it.

If mitrovic had scored then barkley losing possession last night would have a lot more people in and out the ground fuming instead of, you know trying to create a goal to win the game.

Perhaps he was more cocky on the fact we were winning, but if we weren't (which to be fair most other strikers would have buried that chance) then there would be a lot more fume about it.
But he didn't and we won three nil mate. Barkley being man of the match and stepping up to take responsibility for the two pens, one of which he won. That's on top of his hitting the woodwork (Barkley involved again) multiple times which was closer than Mitrovic's missed shot, which also happened to be Newcastles only real chance in the game.

Apologies for me missing your point but I'm struggling here.

again not critisised any other side of his game last night. You keep glossing over that fact, i wonder why? Is it because you can keep trying to wind me up by pulling me up on anything other than what i was saying?

You are struggling here, you are struggling again to offer any sort of constructive against me, hell even two other posters have said the same as me?

so not a personal attack at all?

FFS i did not watch the game and we won 3 0 . God hates me. Can sombody tell what is not in Highlist , like who was good who bad , who average , I see we won at the end . One more thing Begovic wanzs o leave Chwlsea like many other players but he most because Hidink dont give him chance like Mo witch was they agremant I think . What do u think is he good enough to snach him and maybe few other that will go from there.

Hi mate you still have to convert penaties and I'm sure he scored a pretty good goal against Man City in a high pressure game? Does that count?

His possession stats are very good last night and be played more passes than most so that would indicate his importance to the team. Did you miss the bits on the edge of the box where he controlled the play and the other bit where he was unlucky not to score ANOTHER goal from the shot which their keep saved well onto the woodwork?

Again saying anything other than what i have said.

haven't mentioned any other thing other than him losing possession everytime he was shaping a shot up. That's it, no other mention of anything else, no mention of previous games, no mention of any other part of his game, no mention of even the pens.

If you want to have a constructive discussion about last night, then comment constructively on what i said, not what i never said.

Hello mate I am making very rational retorts to your incorrect position using examples and data to back up my stance.

I'm deeply sorry you interpret this as me struggling here because two people have agreed with you. Although that could be an insult or personal attack no?

My point is that if any Evertonian watched Ross Barkley last night they would be very foolish and trite to criticise his game.

We won 3-0, he scored two and was man of the match in pretty much everyone's book. One reading the match thread last night I noticed some Evertonians maybe we're a bit foolish in their criticism of him so that's what I seek to address with you now mate.

Hello mate I bold the bit to prove where you are dead dead wrong.
