Mikey is showing he's a true Evertonian by finding things to moan about. All of you optimistic folks can't call yourself proper fans.

Well in Mikey. I salute you.

I agree. I love Jags and so do most of our fanbase, so i dont think he gets the criticism he deserves at times. Just off the top of my head he was bullied by the likes of Ben Arfa (coleman saved him with a great tackle) & Remy for the goal yesterday. neither are guys that should be pushing Jags about. I galso et frustrated when we are working to keep posession and jags takes it upon himself to hit a long diagnol ball and it flys out for a newcastle throw. Of anyone one the team he should be playing short tidy passes or clearing it when in trouble.

Im not saying we should bench Jags, but he should feel very fortunate to have Distin next to him to clean up any mess he finds himself in. Distin has proven to be one of the best CB's in the prem.

Agree word for word. Distin is comfortably the better of the two. Jags was at fault for Remy's goal IMHO, and he was also at fault for Van Wolfswinkel's goal for Norwich. Not a fan of his regular Hollywood passes either.

i just think delafoof is trying too hard too impress. when he's a regular, then's the time to judge. he tried to seal the game, suppose there's nothing wrong with that

Was surprised by this really, I expected Distin to look more out of his depth in Martinez' new system but he seems to be settling in pretty well (probably helped by the fact that he doesn't age) and seems capable of bringing the ball out of defence as well when necessary, Jags looks pretty uncomfortable in possession, maybe it's just a blip though, still an excellent classic CH.
