I was referring to the recruitment of Koeman, Walsh, Williams, Bolasie, Klaasen, Sigurdsson, Allardyce...where the club allowed itself to be held to ransom in every case. Clearly had no plan B. We paid minimum double in every one of those deals.

But....recruitment has got better under Alardyce...and Siggi will earn his corn next season when he's fit.

But....recruitment has got better under Alardyce...and Siggi will earn his corn next season when he's fit.

He`s bought two players, one of whom, Tosun wasn`t ready to play for weeks after he was bought ( not knocking Tosun by the way ).

This during a period when we just couldn`t score and really really needed a goal scorer.

This would`ve been good recruitement if buying for the future, but we needed a striker there and then.

Sorry, but that is poor recruitment.

I can only think Walcott came, as he`d been told off the record, that the slug wouldn`t be here next season.
