Wow it's amazing, just watched it on MOTD. Highlights don't really tell you the whole story, while Liverpool had more and better chances however I thought we bossed large parts of the game without really creating much and their chances seem to come from individual pieces of brilliance or mistakes but I suppose that's what you get from simply better players as opposed to hard workers. Martinez has to find a way to keep our best players in the team and get them to be better team players / workers. The solution is not to play poor players.

I'd have no problem with Naisy being in the starting 11 every week if he was playing second striker to Rom, with somebody creative behind them. But the way we play now, he just breaks down our attacks, he was the worst player in the blue shirt today, with Barry being close.
Barry was by far the worse player. Naismith was pretty bad too though.

If only Coleman hit that beut of a pass first time he would've scored I think. To hell with it. Crap game n display in general. Barry can koff he's slowly becoming the new Phil liability Neville.

Awful match, terrible atmosphere, terrible football.

Everton & Liverpool played like the Basketball players in Space Jam. Surely they have been drugged.
Weird derby from the off. It almost felt like a friendly. I think the ref played a part in that who I'm not sure if has been mentioned but he literally blew for everything early on to the point where I said it was worse than la liga. However both managers played and got what they wanted.

We were [Poor language removed]. The result was 0-0. Liverpool were [Poor language removed] but, because we were [Poor language removed], we did not win the game 3-0, which what a top four side would have done to the RS.

I dont think they had better chances - the Ibe one onto the post Robles had covered, and I cant remember them ending up as clean through as Coleman was at the end or the one that dropped at Naismith's feet in the first half. They had more of the ball and shot a bit more, but thats about it.

Coleman and Naismith had the best chances of the game and Mignolet produced the only save of real note in the game....

In Martinez's defence, Barkley has been absolute rubbish all season. Should have been benched long ago. The second he turns it around and justifies his spot in his position, and doesn't get put there, I will criticise Martinez for that one.
But he's playing Barkley on the left all the time, Barkley gets moved all over the place to accommodate Barry and Naismith, he's got more talent in his dick than the pair of them.

Did you see the difference Barkley made today as soon as he came on, you need talented players in that link role, that's where clubs pay big money, and Naismith is just not good enough, Naismith's attributes are finishing and work rate, not passing, not close control in tight final third situations.

Maybe, those passes from Barry was atrocious, i was mentally preparing for them to score. But still Barry did something defensively, while Naisy didn't do one thing that benefited us in any way.

All I'm saying is that i think if had another player in Barry's position today, the result would probably be the same, but if there was somebody else in No. 10 position (Ross?) we would create more, and therefore we would've had a bitter chance at winning.

Well that clears it up for me

Neither team where [Poor language removed]. They where both setup not to loose.
