Poor game like.

They're garbage as well, absolutely 100% garbage. They were there to be beaten today.

Gotta start getting results now. Chelsea will be tough, start with Leicester next week.

Didnt hear it meself like but heard Naismith sort of questioned Hendersons sexuality....thats why Bigfoot threw a hissy fit.

Got to love Naismith, he doesn't give a toss

Now you're being ridiculous expecting me to guess who we tried and failed to get, who we didn't try to get but would have been successful with and personal terms would have been agreed etc

But I'll play the silly hypothetical game of nonsense and tell you who you could have got for a lot less...just attacking wise

Lukas Podolski on loan (similar scoring ratio to Lukaku. Infact, last season, a lot better with Arsenal than what Lukaku has this season)

Callum McManaman (surprised Martinez didn't go for this especially when WBA got him - decent squad option, significantly younger than McGeady, better than him, and a Blue)

Shinji Kagawa £6 Million (I am a fan anyway)

Michu loan (seems to have flopped a bit in Italy but I am trying to be honest and imagine this game being played without the benefit of hindsight - ANd just coz he flopped for Napoil doesn't mean he'd have flopped at Everton. He has it in his locker.....he's proved it).

Lewis Holtby £5 Million

and Id still sign Dembele from Spurs and believe he will become available

These are just from the last 2 windows and are a darn sight cheaper and yet still more effective than Lukaku, NcGeady, Atsu , Lennon (will be) as a unit

Then you're still left with a pile of cash to replace Howard, Hibbert, Distin, etc with
Would have like Podolski on loan, thought he was underused by Wenger. No idea on his salary though.

Don't think we would of got Kagawa as he wanted to be reunited with Klopp and out of the league - he always looked happier inEuropean games anyway. Michu is a tit and don't rate Callum as highly as you do. Holtby I would have liked but don't think he offers that much in attack, more just a hard worker.

But fair do's for putting up some ideas, all some people want to do is moan without saying anything remotely constructive.

Now I have my problems with Barkley, I think he's lazy and he needs to up his workrate big time.

But he did more in 5mins of coming on, than Naismith did all game, he created our only game winning chance for Coleman all game, if he'd have been on earlier, we'd have had more chances, the amount of our attacks that broke down due to Naismith today was too many to stomach, he was like a DM for them breaking up our plays.

It's not enough to give 100% like Naismith does, not in the position he plays as a link man for our 28m striker, Barkley has been moved from pilar to post to accommodate him and it's wrong, Barkley is a better number 10 than Naismith could ever dream of, because he can control it in tight situations, players stand off him scared of what he's going to do, and he can find a blue shirt a lot more often than Naismith does, he proved that today.

We need to get Lennon and Barkley in the side, so for me, Barry and Naismith are benched.
