Positives:

- Keeping a clean sheet, really good and relieving that our back four and keeper are finally starting to play some solid football.

- Quite similar to above but Stones and Jags are really clicking and forming a solid partnership.

- Besic, he's such a good player has the attack of a yard dog and goes in for everything yet he's still got so much class, poise and smarts.

"The noteworthy"

- Joel doing another good job, didn't have a lot to do but did well when called a pon, thought he did so well to get to Sterling's ball to Ibe.

-McCarthy returning, was fantastic to see him back. Now we just need to see him and Besic play together to see how the can partner up.

- Lennon will be a good signing, whilst be won't set the world alight he'll be a fine pick up, works hard both ways and is super quick.

The Negatives

- Lack of support and service (or any real creativity at all) for Lukaku.

- Barkley not coming on until really late, should have been on at half time.

- Naismith and Barry's passing, Naisy was either killing the momentum by passing it backwards or sideways, booting it to a player a few yards away or turning it over. An attacking midfielder simply must be a good passer. Whilst Barry wasn't stringing together as many passes going forward as he should his biggest problem was a crappy pass in the back half which almost resulted in them scoring a couple of goals.

- I didn't really wanna mention it but I thought poor old Oviedo was really poor. Never should he be getting schooled by Jordan Ibe, how's he going to go if he has to play next week and line up on someone like Hazard?
Ibe is a really good player, I've only saw him twice tbf but both times he as been awesome. He's Sterling mark 2.

This team is in a delicate place right now, and another clean sheet is no bad thing to have.

RM did what had to be done, but there wasn't much art in it. Sometimes Art Carney has to be enough.

A clean sheet is a clean sheet.

After 4 defeats against Southampton Stoke Newcastle & Hull conceding 9 & scoring 2 with 0 points
to 3 draws & 1 win against Man Citeeh WBA Palace & the sh**e conceding 1 & scoring 2 with 6 points
I'll take that for now, I'd would have taken a point before the game with them in such good form and us on the turn it was vital not to lose
Still not good enough only 6 shots 1 on target tonight
But on the plus side Robles,Coleman,Stones,Jagielka,McCarthy (Mom),Besic & Lennon
Mirallas didn't look interested or fit
ffs Roberto lid work on these fkin offsides

Poor game, but heh, it was a Derby, so no surprise there.

Both teams looked scared of losing, we created next to nothing and, though the stats probably make it look better for them, they created jack all too. So, a point, which I'd have taken before kick-off, and a clean sheet too.

Exactly, honours even......
