Well I stayed awAy again and watched every second and thought I had been transported back to the 0-0 games of the 70s
We've steadied the defence but we have no creativity
Still we didn't lose
But nobody crunched Mr 700 games of moaning

It's absolutely disgusting every game Besic gets subbed before Barry, Besic went straight down the tunnel, he was not happy.

One of the best on the pitch week in week out and Barry has been [Poor language removed] all season.
When he goes down the tunnel it means he's not happy with himself. Not with the decision subbing him, never. Those times passed, he never critisizes any managerial decision.

That'll do fine. Not been beaten in a long time. The "recovery" remains intact. Lacked quality though.

Hammer blow to their CL ambitions. With Southampton winning today, they'll do brilliantly to finish top 6. LOL.

Didn't play well, but that wasn't likely to happen given that we're way out of form and they press even harder than they usually do in derbies.

No headlines for Gerrard, we'll surely never see him play in one again. Massive relief.

Very disappointed with how long it took for Barkley to be introduced though. We instead of the ball coming back at us, we could have broken with some pace. Not good from Roberto.

...we've had reverse situations. At this point in time they are better than us, at this point in time they will beat most sides. I thought we'd have one chance, we did but the end result was ok. We asked for attitude, we asked for commitment and we got it. Chill you beans the rest will happen.

nails.webp

As always.

Odd. Really odd.

Liverpool seemed to dominate the first 30 mins of the 2nd half, but never really looked like scoring, whereas we looked a bit, (a lot?) disjointed at times, but were a final ball away from getting in.

And I feel really sorry for Rom.

But a point, and the Gerrard circus is now finished. At least with us involved in it that is.

Was Slippy playing?

He may as well have stood on the sidelines and just gurned at the crowd.

Besic was on a yellow and looked like he could get another, and alcaraz has proved he's useful in the box if we get a corner...Mirallas has never been fit enough for more than an hour, hoever well or crap he's playing. Naismith worked his bbbbbbbb off again. Lukaku, no much service, did a lot of running. Barkley, one good pass to Coleman, but still stands off and won't tackle. We are becoming safer at the back...Lennon will do well for us.
Yep, that sums it up nicely.
