There is no way Leicester moved the ball better. They played half the number of passes and were less accurate. They played like a bottom half team does against a top team and relied on our ineptitude to get something from the game.
Please read my post. I said they moved the ball quicker.

BTW I totally disagree with your analysis of Leicester's gameplan.

They played on the counter because they knew we were weak to a quick break.

They were content to let us have the ball and defend deep and we did very little with all our possesion.

That is what they have done all season. They have a game plan and at the moment are very good at it, in fact excellent. How would they fair if teams parked the bus against them. Would be interesting.

Wont happen mate. He will play Robles as he did at Wigan.

Yesterday one team had more desire , was fitter , moved the ball quicker and was better organised - and it wasn't Everton.

Just re-confirms that having loads of possesion means sod all. Time and time again Martinez fails to learn.

Tell me how you judge desire, fitness, how quickly they move the ball and organisation. Is there a statistical measure or are they all entirely subjective?

I'd say Everton lost because they created and scored two goals but gave three away.

This really wasn't the impressive Leicester team that has climbed to the top of the table. They were well organised but had no cutting edge.

Surely if he does it every time it's the definition of consistancy

They didn't need one, we did that bit

I think that would both improve the side and send a message, but I don't think he'll do it and I'm losing patience with him.

The team is in a rut and something clearly has to change.

Totally agree with you mate. Having travelled to Bournemouth and Norwich in recent weeks and watched yesterday I have been genuinely excited watching Stones, Deulefeu, Barkley and Lukaku almost any time they get ball.

But for as good as they've been they've also been badly let down more than the good they've contributed largely by Howard (not commanding his 6 yard area) and poor match management by Martinez practically every game this season. For example, Yesterday was screaming out for a niggly battling player like Naismith and while he's not my first choice most weeks we just cannot play the same one-size-fits-all tactics all the time. Eddie Howe, Alex Neill, Pardew and Ranieri have each taken 45 minutes to tactically nullify our tactics. And Martinez just seems to be too pig-headed to alter his tactics.

This needs to be put on some kind of Banner. Exactly!!

We created more than enough chances to win the game and scored two goals. We gave Leicester two soft penalties and gifted them another goal. They posed very little threat until they went 3-1 up and we had to chase the game and leave ourselves open to the counter. They exploited our mistakes and were relatively solid at the back but they did not out play us.
