This bad run hurts me more than last season's debacle because we were truly rubbish back then, now we are playing some great football and dominating games yet still can't pick up 3 points.

This would have been the perfect season to grab a spot in the top 4 but it looks increasingly like we won't due to our defensive woes. If we don't sort it out top 6 might even slip away from us sadly.

Yesterday one team had more desire , was fitter , moved the ball quicker and was better organised - and it wasn't Everton.

Just re-confirms that having loads of possesion means sod all.

Time and time again Martinez fails to learn.

There are too many inconsistencies now.

Delu rolling around like a spoilt baby.
Barkley holding onto the ball too long every time.
Anonymous players who aren't being recognised on the day as needing hooking.
Tactics. Is there only one? Tactic?
Set pieces. Wow. How much do you get paid to do that again?
Howard. If he was a horse he'd be repurposed into glue and even then, what glue is Howard strength going to hold?

Apologists better get game. Plotters got ammunition son.
Surely if he does it every time it's the definition of consistancy

Despite being at Norwich last week I was still very optimisitc at half time because Inthought he were pretty much in control in the first half. But as soon as the other team raises its game a bit or has its share of the play we concede so easily and that undoes the good work. Set plays don't get the pulse racing either because we never look like scoring from them, only got a couple of free kicks in and around the box any way. Lots of things to improve based on yesterday but the main two for me would be our lack of penetration on the left makes us predictable on the right and Deulefeu can eventually be blocked by double marking. Secondly lack of pressing or tackles when we do not have the ball means oppo gets well into our danger area before meeting any proper resistance. Lots of good players in this team but distinct lack of bite and killer instinct.

I'm not sure who the defensive coach is but we really do need to change them and get a good one in, (Moyes was good at the defensive side of things, Martinez is good at the attacking) Moyes as assistant? Only joking.

Thought Aaron Lennon looked sharp and linked up nicely with Coleman when he came on (deja vu from last season). Gareth Barry the old beaut need to be rested every now and then. Only an oblivious manager would start him in every game.

Was Moyes really that good
Think it was more a case of when we got infront get as many defenders on then pitch and hope to hang on
And how many times did we surrender a lead late on
I always used to look at arsenal and they would see out games comfortably with keeping possession and not letting the opposition get up a head of steam

So I think Martinez's way is the right way just at the moment we have 2 young CB's and a [Poor language removed] goalie
And we have poor game management
Arsenal are a very attacking team but keep plenty of clean sheets
Don't get me wrong i know arsenal have spent s lot more than us
