We were beaten by the best. 3 times we have lost against two strong title contenders and the league leaders and new title contenders we are all playing relatively bad every one outside top three. Get jags in, replace Howard we might get a hold of this crazy hurricane of a season. We are leaking goals but need to address it and we are boss. Can't say it's that simple for all the other teams in the same mix.

The fact is that will never happen and it is beginning to amount to deliberate negligence...

Since Martinez has come I'm generally confused about what constitutes a good performance. We seem to play relatively well in most games in terms of having the majority of possession and scoring goals but we don't seem to be able to play well for ninety minutes and out defending is dreadful. Not structurally but just in terms of individual brain farts that give away goals. The best Moyes teams had a lot of dog about them and were very well organised and difficult to beat. Our current team is just so easy to play against. We don't seem to try that hard to win the ball back when we lose it or to fight for 50:50s.

Why Mirallas isn't starting games is beyond me, other than the maxim that Lukaku plays better when Kone starts. Looks like a surefire case of a player being frozen out. We're going to lose him in January I fear, as he'll be wanting games under his belt before the Euros start. It would be unforgivable as he poses a real attacking threat and scores important goals like the one which nearly got us back into it today.

Leicester will win them for a while but they are riding the crest of a wave and enjoying a lot of luck. They will eventually revert to their true position based on the ability in their squad which is negligible. Palace were a more dangerous team in my opinion. Again individual mistakes have cost us. First and third goals were literally gifted to Leicester. They did absolute nothing to deserve them. The second goal was good play but very poor/weak/naive goalkeeping as usual. The shape of our team seems wrong to me. We are too obsessed with getting the ball to Del all the time. We actually looked much better with Lennon on because he gives the ball away less and links up play better. Del is all or nothing. When the ball goes to him he either loses it or we score. Nothing in between. Kone has also been terrible since the sunderland game. No pace, continually slowing down our attacks by turning into trouble, never shooting. We're not a good enough team to leave someone like Mirallas on the bench. He was one of our best 2 or 3 players not so long ago. He provides a goal threat, scores free kicks and would take some attention away from Del. He has to play.
We always love to give excuses...
Individual errors come from lack of confidence. Confidence is built from drills, practice and strong motivation...
Guess who is responsible for all of that...

There are too many inconsistencies now.

Delu rolling around like a spoilt baby.
Barkley holding onto the ball too long every time.
Anonymous players who aren't being recognised on the day as needing hooking.
Tactics. Is there only one? Tactic?
Set pieces. Wow. How much do you get paid to do that again?
Howard. If he was a horse he'd be repurposed into glue and even then, what glue is Howard strength going to hold?

Apologists better get game. Plotters got ammunition son.
