See...I can't be having that personally

If Leicester actually finish top 4 - which they stand a better chance than anyone below em - it'll just show how poorly managed Spurs, us and the RS actually are.

It's embarrassing from top to bottom for those clubs.

Good point this, its not about throwing money at it, its about having a manager who has a clue what he is doing, and we don't.

Before todays games we were fifth if the league was based on goal difference and nothing else ! But of course it isn't! We are also making chances, and have hit the post/bar relatively often. 'with a bit of luck' we would have possibly 4 more points. We are still well in the mix for top 4/6. For the hard slog through January and February we have a good depth to the squad. Lets see were we are for the final run in.

u really think we have a chance of top 4 mate. i think we will be lucky to get top 10

About five minutes ago I forced myself to look at the table.

I was shocked to find that after a run in which we have picked up three points out of a possible twelve we are still only six points off a top four spot :celebrate:

It is still proper on........COYB
I enjoy your posts and like the fact you are staying positive, but for the rest of the season we will still have Martinez in charge, that takes any positive thoughts right out of my mind. Why be positive when you have a negative and defeatist
man in charge of our club.

With Baines, Stones,Coleman in defence Barry holding no way should we be letting in 3 goals at home, Howard has in the past been a good keeper for us but good players have to be replaced in the end and the time has come for that to happen. But the blame has to go to Martinez he is attack minded and can't organise a defence at all, Moyes was more the other way he thought more defensive. Martinez has to sort this if he wants to keep his job. As for Lukuku going not a chance he's under contract and the days players pushing for a move are numbered, Stone perfect example, also why do players always want to jump ship, there's a job to be done here and with the right guidance this is easily a top 4 side. The best signing we could get is a top defencive coach as the current system isn't working.

We were beaten by the best. 3 times we have lost against two strong title contenders and the league leaders and new title contenders we are all playing relatively bad every one outside top three. Get jags in, replace Howard we might get a hold of this crazy hurricane of a season. We are leaking goals but need to address it and we are boss. Can't say it's that simple for all the other teams in the same mix.

Well, the alternative to being positive is being negative and I have always found the former emotion makes life much more bearable, Dave.

Especially when one has been going to watch Everton since 1971 :(

It's not a dive lads. It's a sucker move on the goalie that ever striker does when a keeper comes flying out. He knocked the ball wide, keeper came and he made sure there was contact.
I haven't seen the game yet because the 'red button - viewers choice' didn't work, but I can picture that easily. The goalie stupidly dives at the feet of the striker and he just runs into him. The ref' probably knows but he doesn't care and just makes the easy decision.

FFS stay on your feet and tackle him standing up. He might still score but it's a better choice than gifting him a penalty.
