I'd go with that too. Pienaar's a tidy player, what we need in the first 60 minutes of matches. Geads can be a dangerous crosser, useful for those last 30 minutes.

I'm just glad we got another preseason point. Was worried about being relegated before the season started.

The result doesn't matter, the fact that we could barely string 3 passes together or get close to them does.

What this game highlighted was a real lack of depth in our squad.

Osman, Pienaar, Barry, Hibbert, Alcharaz and maybe even Baines and Jags look finished. McGeady is playing with no confidence and Naismith just isn't good enough.

The only positive is that Besic looks quality, I guatantee he starts instead of Barry, Ross looked sharp and let's be honest Mirallas and Rom will make a big difference.

Our first team is fine if we get Atsu but our squad is really poor. A lot of aging players.
