there are far more teams fighting for the best of the rest, and anybody can beat anybody on their day.
sounds like The Championship

even the best managers in the world would have been unlikely to do better than Keoman at Southmaption without significant amounts of money. Most of the big name managers do well because they have 'tons of money' and good tactics, and instill good discipline.
Koeman was successful with hardly any resources and his key players being sold. Give him money on top, which hopefully we will, and he should flourish.
Moyes got us regular top 7, there's really no other way of saying it. One blip in 2003/04, an 11th place also early on and an 8th somewhere...otherwise it was top 7 for the other eight seasons...a fair few 5ths and one 4th. We were the best-of-the-rest for that long period. It was a nice status to have, in the absence of trophies.
And the league is weaker now than it was then: breaking into the fabled Big 4 was near-impossible, those clubs were also dominating Europe. Now the big clubs have weakened given the chasing pack a chance. More competitive is one way to describe it...weaker is another.
let's hope you're onto something, brother
If you quote me don't edit my postsounds like The Championship
Nope.
The league is stronger, the top teams are not as dominant. Teams like Spurs, West Ham, Southampton, and City have all moved from being either in lower leagues or being perennial mid table or below sides, to challenging for the top 8. That has clearly made it more of a challenge for a team like Southampton to get in the top 7 or 8, especially with their wage structure.

Weaker? Don't agree at all, there are far more teams fighting for the best of the rest, and anybody can beat anybody on their day.eh? i didn't. what edit have you noticed?
Nope that English clubs dominated Europe back then or nope that the Big Clubs have weakened?
you wot mate? nah mate. bollocks.
No that's editing to misquote somebody and try to pfove your weak point. Don't appreciate it. Thanksthat's not editing that's cutting for brevity.

That will be depressing, If Barry plays week in week out. I just think we need better than someone who sits there and play 5/10 yard passes. He's to slow for what's required at the top end of the prem these days.
I can see Ali destroying him
Next week
I don't need to you do, as you made the initial argument.*prove
