Talk about drama on here if not mistaken our best seasons came from a poor pre season. There is no logic to suggest what you have seen today is what happens in the premier league. Let's give it a chance before we go into total meltdown. Some posters on here are laughable and a little embarrassing.

I did not say it was, please read correctly
I can honestly this group of senior players except the 1952 side and the mid-nineties,and the early, 2000 is the worst.
Fair point. Missed that. Obviously not confident but I think over the season things will improve. I don't think there will be a quick fix and just buying for the sake of it isn't the answer. Next season for me is where expectations should hopefully rise.

Thought the 3 at the back against Utd looked better than today's formation, get a proper pair in midfield to link defence and attack and you're on to something

Think Swansea fear a huge fans backlash if they let him go to easily, and think this is them just trying to get Williams to hand in a transfer request, so they can say to the fans that they tried everything they could to convince him to stay.

I'm not sure the deal is being staggered for that reason though mate. It's a bog standard PL switch and the Swansea fans would realise that £12M for a 32 year old is decent business and accept it. We just dont do things tidily, and that (ultimately)is down to us needing to sell players to fund incomings.

This wasn't the deal we all signed up to re Moshiri.

Was never a Koeman-fan myself...getting Southampton top 7 in the last two seasons isn't all that considering Moyes did that with us over 10 years. Otherwise he's done nothing of note in a quality league. Koeman's record in the cups is also underwhelming (bar one Spanish Cup win 8 years ago).

Yeah I said the same, once said "we might as well have got Moyes based on his record" to my mates who didn't agree

But I kept quiet mostly as I was under the impression that we where going to spend big on certain players (members on this forum, who are beginning to be found out), so took the guise that Mosh had full faith in the potential Koeman has.

All I've seen so far is a second choice keeper, a player we signed on the cheap through a release clause - and poor performances on the pitch albeit they are Friendlies.

It's kind of dampened my excitement for the Spurs game now who recently demolished an Inter Milan side, as I've said a lot I hope that I'm proven wrong.
