100% mate.
If Moshiri gambled that we could stay up without decent signings, thereby giving us half a chance with the ffp rules, it might just paid off for him big time.
Trying the same trick this season will be a disaster. A ruthless cull and some smart investment needed now. I wonder what everyone's level of ambition right now is for next season.... On the one hand, a 15th place finish, with safety secured 3 weeks before the end of the season represents progress, but obviously we want better than that. I want to see Everton in the top 10 next season. Am I being unrealistic?
Honestly, yes you probably are. It's a big jump from the last 2 seasons to top 10. Hopefully I'm being overly negative but my first thoughts were that Luton are going to take up one of the relegation spots next year with Sheffield United likely to join them. It should be easier to stop up next year.

Just one post on a Leicester City Forum: '...just speculating what they had to cough up to make sure Bournemouth stuck to the script , obviously A lot more than they had to pay Wimbledon all those years ago...'

And we get called 'bitter'!

Swallow it, LC fans, you're down because your set of players did not deliver as many points as our players, whichever way you cut it...

Should reply and ask them how much we paid Maddison to miss his pen

I can only imagine they didn’t watch the game?

Bournemouth wanted us down and played till the end to try and make it happen

Did they have noise cancelling microphones on the telly at Goodison or something, cos I’ve had a few mates saying it seemed dead quiet when they watched on the tv, and I’m like that was the loudest I’ve heard Goodison for a while?!? Loud for long periods as well?

After the goal was insane. Haven't a clue what happened on the pitch in the ten mins after Doucoure scored.

Well done for making the long journey. I hope you had a good day. Lerma stood out for your side, not gonna lie, he was all over the pitch. I'm thrilled that you lost 😀

What's your nearest away day next season, is it London?

If we pay for you new training kits and throw in a team breakfast, can we sign this Mr. Cook? He sounds handy. Maybe we can stretch to some new boots for your team as well.

Congrats on surviving! I thought we were terrible again, but you kept at us and deserved the win. With Dyche in charge, I doubt you'll be in the same situation come the end of next season and so your new stadium should open to Premier League football.

Our closest away match next time around will be Fulham or Brighton, depending on how you travel.

Our midfield needs reinforcements with Lerma gone and Billing only having one year left on his contract and already being short there so I can't see us letting anyone else leave at the moment. Hopefully, it's where we buy first.

Are your FFP issues sorted now so that you can recruit again this summer?

…cheers, Matey. The FFP investigations into us & City is still underway so we await the consequence. At the moment, we are free to bring players in this summer.

Billing is rated by many on here (including me), I was glad he was quiet yesterday.

Haha no. Not sorted at all. We'll be lucky to avoid a penalty or points deduction by the sounds of it (aware I'm talking to someone who knows all about points deductions!)

I don't think you were terrible, credit to them for trying a bit when nothing was a stake. I wouldn't have wanted to be the away team at Goodison yesterday. They had a few chances to score (probably best for them that they didn't!).

That run you went on March-April is something to build on. Shame you haven't got anyone near you next year but I suppose you're used to that too! Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for re: near neighbours.
Best of luck to you.

Hugeness of these goals by the way.

Gray away at city.
Keane at home to spurs.
Mina away At Wolves.

Three huge goals. Two last minute equalised. One an extra point not expected.
Also, how many points has Pickford earned for us this season.
That penalty save alone, at Leicester, has kept us up. 3 point swing to Leicester without that save.
True Everton hero, who incidentally, in the middle of this season's sh*t show pledged his future to the club. Awesome. 👊💙💙💙💙
