If it were a 2 legged tie - a 7-0 defeat is embarrasing - thankfully its not - just hope we get some players / form back if we make it through to the knockout stage -

A toothless display to forget :(

Which one? The first game? The Wolves game? Fulham perhaps? Pompey? Arsenal? Shall I go on?

Hope is eternal my friend, it never happens.

Just toothless really. Were in the middle of this awful run and were not even doing the basics as our season is falling apart.

We had five in midfield tonight and they still carved through it, sometimes right through the centre. We are so inept at dealing with teams that can move the ball around quickly that it's a bit embarrassing in the Euro games.

Too often the cross or delivery doesn't beat the first man and we simply don't look like scoring.

It's still in our hands but it that was over two legs it would be a 7-0 defeat which is just not good enough for this football club.

Yobo and Distin are not looking too good either it has to be said. Good news that Neville and Jagielka are on the way back, Pienaar needs to return ASAP so we have some playmaking at least.

And for [Poor language removed] sake Everton, smash the [Poor language removed] into teams when theyre doing the ole thing.

Its still in our hands in the group, it stings but we have to show something, anything soon and snap out of it.

The fans in my opinion have been accepting this dross for too long. I never went tonight, but the last 3 home games when we have lacked any kind of cutting edge, fans were leaving the ground singing. While I was kicking [Poor language removed] out of the seats showing some ******* passion.

I dropped 500 into this team this year and for me that is a lot of money, I really wish I never bothered because I'm not getting anywhere near the effort I require to justify that cost.

It's not even a five man midfield, it's like this:

--------------------Rodwell----------------------

------------Cahill--------------Fellaini------------

Gosling----------------------------------------Bilya

Rubbish. Absolute crap.

It's to do with the final ball. Players not doing there job. and of course injuries, blah blah.

But when you have a goal machine on the wing. A 9m russian doing sweet FA. Centre back who just **** it and hope for the best. We need to get back to playing basic football, and at the moment those players out there need to look at their bank balance and think, am I really justifying this lifestyle that I lead?

starting with the defence!! as a clean sheet atleast a draw will build confidence the more clean sheets the more confedence our midfield will get ect.........

we defo need to sort our defence out now! both goals tonight were shoking defensive wise!

Well the 2nd was Tony Hibbert once again showing us why he is not good enough to play at this level. He has absolutely no idea where players are, none whatsoever. Time and Time again I see him doing this and I think, surely Moyes watches these games and thinks we need to sort that out.

I mean, I want to ask Moyes personally what the **** he is doing during training?
