Ukrainian football agent Vadim Shabliy has just said that Dnipro goalkeeper and UEFA Team of the Year nominee Denys Boyko has received an offer from a "good English mid-table club". Shabliy posted a picture of himself with Roberto in a meeting room about a month ago.

Could it be?!?!?!

Numbers wise yes but, McAleny and McGeady are non-entities and Gibson should be sold while hes fit.

So really its just Naismith and Mirallas who would be out in terms of actual first teamers...

That much of a squad turnaround in the middle of a season is mental, Zat. McGeady may move on in Jan, and possibly Kev if the right offer is made.

And the value of the players you mentioned will be lower in the summer, it always is as January all the prices go up. Nobody wants to lose their best player at any time, but especially not half way through a season.

January will be used to boost the squad if needed depending on injuries and potentially 1 or 2 sales. That's it.

Bernardo Silva is one player who we would need to go in for now and quickly. Monaco still need to bring in money and his value will rocket by the end of the season, easily a £30mil+ player but if we are quick we may be able to get him for £20mil ish now.

Most players will be cheaper in summer but there will be a few whose value will increase. This chap will just keep getting better and better.

no idea who this goalkeeper is but please let it be true anyway, would fit with the meeting!

Well, for the wages add on Hibbert,Oviedo,Osman and Pienaar who are all out of contract in the summer. Total guess but say, £160k a week there in wages.

Galloway,Stones,Lukaku,Barkley and Deulofeu all need new 5 year contracts so thats an extra £30k+ available for each of them. Of course then others like McCarthy and Coleman will want improved terms too as there would be a gulf...thats the main priority for me...extending the contracts.

For them to extend they will want to see progress on the pitch and new signings.

I agree about Naismith,Mirallas and McGeady but would ship out Gibson and McAleny also. I would not wait until summer, i would do this in January. This is because we already have at least 4 players off in summer and also because we need to build a pot for Martinez.

Keeper i think we would need to wait till summer but with the money generated in Jan we should be looking at Bernardo Silva, Breel Embolo or Inaki Williams (or similar) as in the summer their values will increase, especially Silva's. Would be a major statement of intent signing Silva.

Id hope Martinez will enquire on Butland and Karius (or similar) and in fact it may be beneficial to bring in Karius now so he has time to adapt in 2016 and take over as 1st choice.

He needs to move out players in Jan or we will be left with 9 or 10 to move on in the summer which is a mass exodus. He also needs to make a big signing to improve us but also to show Stones etc this is the place to be.

No chance of signing Silva or Butland. Karius has been poor this season compared to last year, rather try and be more optimistic (still realistic) and go for Sommer or Horn. Williams is about to sign a new contract and if we're being honest here there's no one good enough for us who'll be available in the middle of the season. Embolo would be class but imagine he'll be destined for bigger things.

We'd be better carrying on with what we're doing now of signing young players at the age of 18/19 and developing them ourselves, then signing a better calibre of player in the summer when players and their clubs will be more inclined to do business.

It's about having a squad though. I doubt we'd get the quality of player we need to improve us if we did sell those three, and we'd be a player or two short. When everyone is fit, our squad is strong enough to compete on all fronts. But we never have everyone fit, sow e shouldn't be looking to actively move players on in the middle of the season - a season which so far is looking decent.

We won't get Silva mate. I agree he'd probably be perfect, but can't see it. RM won't spend £20mil in Jan, even if he had it...

Apparently has conceded 0.75 goals per game and is 6ft 4.5 inches...

Only 3 caps for Ukraine though...

In the summer some players values will rocket and champions league teams will be in for them. Not all but some.

I think we have a good image at the moment with our 4 young players and should use that to our advantage and add to that group.

Just developing players and making signings in summer is standard...we need to make moves now.

We have so many options (in martinez eyes) ahead of these players anyway...McGeady /McAleny and Gibson arent going to play consistently and Mirallas/Naismith dont fit into his plans...best to move them on and bring in better quality in Jan.

With 4 players out of contract and hopefully howard out the door in the summer it would be too many players to shift in one go i think.

Its really crazy how many good to great keepers Germany has. SURELY one of them should be available for a decent price?

This is so right, get shut of some junk in Jan and go for it. This could be just the ticket that is needed to send a message to our young players stay with us because we are building.

Every team in the league has at least one good goalie. It's mental. With the exception of Darmstadt's goalie who I haven't seen play I'd have every team in the Bundesliga's first team keeper without a shadow of doubt.
