He's easily 8m or more if he is sold, not that I want him to go, but it looks that way.

McGeady is never even in the squad nowadays so you have to imagine he's gone as soon as a taker is found, maybe for a couple of million tops.

Not being all Football Manager, but that's a very realistic 10m brought in and 60 thousand a week or so off the wage bill.

If Martinez is genuinely interested in Yarmalenko, we can lose two players, add 5m to the money we make and get him easily.

We will only strengthen if the players we want are available and they generally aren't in January.

Not so sure about that Butters.
We are one point from sixth place in a very compressed league and have still some winnable games to play before the half way point.

Out of ten I would so far give a probable seven.

On our bench at present we have :
Baines,Gibson,Mirallas, Naismith,Osman.
We have Jagielka, Oviedo,McCarthy and Besic all returning from injury.

We are not involved in Europe and at most we have league games, three Carling cup games and some FA cup games left to play.

We also have a couple of academy players like Kenny or Dowell that may get a runout before the end of the season.

Unless some outstanding opportunity comes up I don't see us being active.
