I'd die from all of the blood rushing to my loins. That said, Gatt would be a cheap option for depth on the right, but he's not exactly in the best form atm.

Agree but I think he's got a lot of potential.

I know it's a different manager but the one thing that Moyes was good at was bringing in players out of form or not getting a lot of game time and making them good, something I hope Martinez can do too

As long as the squad includes 1 decent winger, and 1 young winger with potential in reserve.
A striker who can actually get the coveted sphere into the goal.
And the innevitable replacement for Fellaini.

Anything else would be a bonus.

Agreed.

But I don't think any of it is unrealistic
I think to get all of them in one summer might be a bit unlikely. Certainly, if we got Claise, Bony, Long, De Guzman and Sinclair for 30-35 million I'd be surprised. Douglas if free we should be banging down his door to get him to sign, De Guzman may well be in the region of 6-8 million. I dunno, I'm excited to see what happens myself.

Douglas already signed for a Russian club so yes its unrealistic
Well that part of it is unrealistic, we will have to blow 8 or 9 million on Toby Aldweireld now. This spending is getting a bit out of control, we need to buy these players responsibly or we will end up with an oversized squad. That would be terrible.

Surprised people haven't mentioned john ruddy coming back to us. I think he has progressed well since leaving and at 26 has plenty of time to improve. Not quite sure about his injury record but I think he'd do well. O and I'd take nacer chadli, jonathan de guzman, and (Negredo or Soldado or Bony would be good) rely more on some young players like stones, duffy, barkley and its all gravy. Also we should be giving kennedy and green some cup game time.

8m is a steal. Unless Ajax got another Dutch Central Defender coming they will hold out for an outrageous price.

Surely we could use Heitinga as a makeweight if we wanted Toby Aldweireld. Keeps going on about how he wants to go back to Ajax and all that.
