Yeah, it was pure fantasy on my part. If money was no object, I'd have him here in a heartbeat

Think it's a disgrace he didn't win GK of the year last year.

the best keeper rarely does, think most just look at goals conceded and if your not in the lowest 5-6 your discounted, whereas anyone with a brain realizes that some of the better keepers play for md to lower table teams and are under siege their lol

still remember soime stat about valdez for barca about 3 years ago stating he has the lowest save percentage of any keeper yet he won the spanish keeper of the year title, let in something like 35 -40% of all shots on target or something ridiculous like that

Definitely need a new keeper.
Get rid of Heitinga, we're OK at the back otherwise with Duffy and maybe Stones surely getting more playing time (assuming Baines stays).
Get rid of Osman in midfield. That's regardless of Fellaini is sold. Unload Gueye as well.
Up front, I'd like to see Vellios get more of a chance. I feel Jelavic will turn it around as well.
Basically, I'm of the opinion we're only a couple of additions away from kicking on this season.

Vellios is poor, been very, very average for the u21's and he's been in the best team in the section. Half arsed most of the time. If we're gonna give a u21 striker a chance, give it to Chris Long.

That's if things went absolutely perfectly for us.

Begović (Given)
Coleman - Jags (Duffy) - Distan (stones) - Baines (Garbutt)

Gibson (Osman) - Defour (Lundstram)

Mcmanaman (Kennedy) - Fer - Mirrales (Pinear)

Rooney (Jelavic)

assuming fellaini leaves for the reputed 24 million and theirs a influx of 10 from the tv deals as well as a few mill hear and their plus what we can get for anichebe, heitinga, howards, naismith (say 10 mill max for them all) etc, using the surplus tv money and loss of some big earners to fund the new boys and move rooney to around 125-140k per week
Who's this pin ear guy you talk off?
