Everton FC Squad 2013/14

We are not in Europe next season, so we are competing for domestic cups only.
We already have a squad of talented players and probably half a dozen under 21 players who would hope to get games in the first team next season.

I would rather see us signing one quality player or two if we are lucky who are better than what we already have and ready to go into the first team immediately.

Unless we sell Fellaini I do not see us signing anything more than two and maybe a free transfer.

It all depends really, probably no one on any of our lists will sign for us but we'll just have to wait and see.

That's although unlikely but possible if we can flog the players for them prices . Honda maybe be cheaper as he will only have 6 months on contract or we could not buy lescott and just get Alcaraz on a free . There would have to be some use of the tv money to make this possible

I think to get all of them in one summer might be a bit unlikely. Certainly, if we got Claise, Bony, Long, De Guzman and Sinclair for 30-35 million I'd be surprised. Douglas if free we should be banging down his door to get him to sign, De Guzman may well be in the region of 6-8 million. I dunno, I'm excited to see what happens myself.

Bony - whilst good, only plays in the Dutch league so 14mil max I think - I'd say about 12mil
Clasie - Being touted at 6.5m, probably 8 because he just signed a new contract
De Guzman - Still only technically plays for a Division 2 side in Spain so would be available cheaper I think probably no more than 5 mil
Sinclair - Loan (im not counting that as an actual fee but 1m at most for a loan fee? No idea)
Long - probably only worth 3 or 4 mil

I'd agree there is too many Wigan players in my squad, but it would make sense to bring these guys in and use a decent amount of cash on a 20 goal a season player, something we haven't had since the Yak.

Negredo would cost between 18/20 million, but if we are going to kill games off, then it would be money well spent.

we dont need wigan players they are ****e, would only take mccarthy at a very cut price deal say £5-6 mil as osmans long term replacement, if felli goes he would need a much better replacement Strootman would be a brilliant.

Assuming Fellaini goes we'll need another CM (maybe push Osman in behind the striker and Barkley as cover)

I'd like to see Mirallas play as a striker, it is his preferred postion. We'll deffinatley need a new striker anyway and a decent winger (with pace). Maybe a second winger who is younger with potential as an option on the bench as well.

Barkley, Duffy and Oviedo should all be getting game time enxt season. Perhaps with occasional cameos from Stones and Kennedy.

Finally a new keeper.

Jelavic would be the first one out the door for me, but I can see him being kept sadly, I dont want a guy who when low on confidence plays THAT bad, not scoring is one thing but for all his poor touches, falling over and simple tap in **** ups we need a top class striker with anichebe as a back up

with carroll apparantly wanting 100k a week at west ham I could see them taking jela instead if we offered him to them for £6-8 mil
