Everton extends kit deal with Umbro

This is exactly what i was thinking about it, just a little bit chav like imo.

Sports Direct sell loads of crap, cheaper Adidas and Nike stuff, too.

I think it's nuts someone as a hobby designs uch nicer kits than the experts that are paid a fortune at umbro.

I'm not surprised, someone designing it on the Internet doesn't have to worry how it will get made, think we usually get one specific kit from Umbro each season, the other 2 are the same as the other teams with Umbro

What kit company would give us a mega bucks deal, for mega bucks these companies want the kits seen weekly on TV, big spreads in the Sunday rags and in Euro Competition not 45 seconds of highlights at 26 minutes past 11 on MOTD.

Don’t know what we realistically expect really. We are not a global brand, have no european football to offer, to have large manufacturers falling over themselves to offer us mega money. Would have liked us to have had Adidas (only because we’ve never been sponsored by them and it would interesting to see what their kits would be like) however we will be the biggest club in England that Umbro sponser, so at least you know they will put some time, effort and thought into the kits, but alas maybe not the money we’d want.

It's not even about the brand for me, I just find Umbro's designs so lackluster and boring, It's too predictable.

Then surely we should not be doing multi year deals, until we have European football and have a better bargaining position. Anyone actually know how many years we are tied into this deal and how much more money were getting each year ?

Year on year we moan about kit deals and shirt design. Not once did our kit manufacturer determine the outcome of our season. Not once. Nor will it ever. And agreed about the cohort who wear sports gear. As an aside to that, the aforementioned will always find a way to source said sports attire be it high street or possibly from this new fangled interweb thing.

They did. Stole a couple of their big teams (e.g England and Man City) and then sold them on after not that long.
