I tell you what though: our distribution of the ball is shockingly bad.

You compare us with almost any other team and they are far more efficient moving the ball around.

I'm shocked when we put a move together - it's that unusual.
Yeah watching Wharton today made me realise how we are crying out for a decent passer. We have several players who are good dribblers, but how many good chances are created from trying to beat a man from a standing start? Charly is probably the closest we have to someone who can look up and play a killer ball forward, hence the improvement when he came on.

I spoke to a few palace fans leaving the ground and they said to me they’ve been put back down to earth, I said mate you haven’t your a good side with a good manager you’ve played two games In four days
And if you got the second could have of been different. He said when we scored
He knew we’d turn it around.
I said carry on beating Liverpool
And good luck for the rest of the Season

Very humble fans @Alan Whittle

Also seen a lot of them claiming the ref was terrible (fair) and massively biased against them (hilarious)

Football fans are all complete loons.
Every football club has a cadre of fans that thinks the ref of any given game is biased against them. Every single match thread on this forum has multiple posts from multiple posters claiming that we have been hard done by with the decisions of the officials. Win, lose or draw.

A player in the mould of Wharton is exactly what our midfield is missing, someone with a good range of passing but who also puts himself about a bit. If I was a Palace fan I would be worried about holding on to him.

Makes you wonder why we didn't go for him when he was at Blackburn as we were heavily linked
