I didn't see the game today (watching my son play) but from what I see/read/hear we could have been out of it before the comeback. Fair play though Toffees for result, and hearing that 'the subs changed the game' is something we haven't heard for a long time.
Also, fair play to JoB for his header off the line at 1-0, which seems to be going under the radar.

Up top we have problems. I feel for Barry, it’s a tough league and he looks a bit lost. Might need a striker in Jan and loan him out for the rest of the season.

How we recruit needs to improve. Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace and Brentford are unearthing gems - I’d like us to have a little slice of that.

All those teams credit their recruitment success to their data heavy approach. Brighton’s owners own the market leader this regard, hence their success. Can’t see us replicating them any time soon I’m afraid, not with our current set up.

But agree with left back. Grealish clearly looks like he appreciates some pace behind him to create space to exploit. Myko isn’t the biggest issue on the team but it’s clearly a spot that could see a big improvement.

Excellent. They cut through us a few times and to be honest we were lucky to still be in it. But once we got our goal we looked good for the win.
Charley looked good and Beto did well too, even though he's often slow to react. Barry not doing enough for me, movement isn't there. Not busting a gut to get anywhere in the box when it comes in. Also think Tim did well when he came on too. Garner should play as our right back.
Haven't read the earlier comments about this but kinda surprised their man didn't get sent off for punching. Tarks made a meal of it, but the VAR clearly shows him jab in in the chest. Weird. Glad it didn't matter.

First half atrocious. How to alienate your supporters right in view in 45 minutes.
Alcaraz lifting the whole place seconds after the restart. The less said about Barry and Dibling the better.
Extraordinary turnaround with us getting the rub of the green for once.

I want to say Grealish for man of the match, because quite frankly I always want to say Grealish. But I think Alcaraz totally changed the game for us, so it has to be him.
