Iroegbunam did really well against tiring legs imo. Alcaraz made a difference, and Beto unsurprisingly put himself about so much more than lazy arse Barry.

Rode our luck there,a win's a win. But the cracks are still there. We could easily have been four behind before we scored.

I thought we got lucky there against a good team who got tired and are easily the best side we have played this season. It is not a surprise we are their bogey side when you see the winner and they also should have been at least 2-0 up but once we got the equaliser we got stronger and it turned it into a really good end to end game with Alcaraz making the difference as he was just constantly driving us forward.

Well that was the last thing I expected after 1st half! Charlie and Beto must have passed the audition to start now, Beto unlucky he didn’t get the goal with his header , was watching on my phone and was it him that ricochet a pass back to Palace in added time for another break to them , no matter now but was miles better than Barry. Shout out to Tim as well , not his biggest fan but fair play . So disappointed with Barry and Dibling in that 1st half , seem scared and timid , not sure why this would be the case with Dibling as he’s played quite a bit in the prem last season ?

I thought we looked a lot more balanced when Keane came off. Garner going to right back and Charly through the middle, we looked better. Beto was an improvement when he came on. But that bit of brilliance by Illie was superb.

Subs changed the game, Alcaraz was superb, Beto was a presence and shout out to Tim who I thought was excellent

Also looked a lot better once Keane went off, CBs were getting pulled all over the shop before that

Didnt have to sit all the way back any longer once he went off. Also Tarks seemed far more comfortable with Obrien.

Poor first half from us. Although palace still had a couple of chances second half, I thought we were a lot stronger. It’s amazing when you bring on a sub who can pass the ball quickly, is incisive and looks to be on the front foot all the time. Charly changed the nature of that game. Motm.
