Also, ignore catching Villa for the 5th place that means nothing, if we lose or even draw on Saturday it means 1 more team gets closer to us. If the other teams below us also win it will make for a very stressful run in. We THINK we have already made Europe, but the higher you finish the more money you get and also it would be lovely to say we finished the 5th best team in the league, its not perfect, but it cements our place as a top, top club.

So to sum up, it doesn't matter if we catch Villa or not because league position doesn't mean anything, but we should still try to qualify in the European places even if we have already qualified for Europe because you get more money the higher you finish and league position means everything.

GOAT. LEARN.

Everton 2 (Fellaini, Saha) Man City 0

Can only see a win here. The crowd will be buzzing. Certain players will have had a good days rest, others may still get rested.

We know Citeh's threats are mainly Robinho, Wright Phillips and Ireland. But Elano is the one that is beginning to pull the strings for them at the moment. But what is always amusing with these brazillians is that they are prone to bad mood swings when things arent going their way - ie mope and be miserable.

The crowd will get to them, and we'll be pushed on by that, especially after the professional and well played game against Chelski in midweek.

I think Hibbo will return for Jacobsen, even though Lars carried himself well. Castillo may or may not play depending on Fellaini's fitness. I think Cahill has ran himself into the ground and needs a rest. Maybe this isnt the game for that but the way Castilo played against Chelsea maybe he's deserved another chance just to give Cahill a rest.

Ossie is a dead man walking on the pitch. He looks battered. So a rest for him is needed also. Again, whether or not this is the game for that is another thing. No Jo either so Saha will come im sure.

I also think Lescott will be benched to give him a rest after Yobo came in for Jags Wednesday night. Slot Yobo where Lescott is and see what happens.

As for Baines. He's been on sensational form...but maybe if Valente is fit, slot him in. But if Wright Phillips plays, I think Baines is our best option.

TEAM

Howard
Hibbert Jags Yobo Baines
Neville Castillo
Gosling Pienaar
Fellaini
Saha

SUBS
Nash, Lescott, Cahill, Vaughan, Osman, Rodwell, Jacobsen.

Is the date wrong on this or am I crazy?

It's Friday today, right?

So tomorrow would be Saturday 25th? And Sunday 26th?

Evening Toffees

Hope you thrash them

P.S. Hope Phil and your boys kick a few of them to soften them up before their 'Cup Final'
