id go with

howard

seamie heitinga distin baines

osman fellaini neville pienaar

cahill
saha

birmingham in great form at the moment, wont be an easy game, cahill to win it with coleman with the assist.....again

I would give Cahill & Saha a rest and play this line-up instead:-

--------------------- Howard --------------------

--- Coleman --- Heitinga --- Distin --- Baines ----

--- Donovan --- Neville --- Fellaini --- Pienaar ---

------------------- Bilyaletdinov ---------------

-------------------- Vaughan ---------------

Saha and Cahill could always comes on, if we need them!

Maybe The Don on the left, Billy on the right and peanut at CF

Not such a good idea to play Pienaar as CF, and if you want to see Donovan on the left, we could always switch them around during the game, we do that alot when we have Arteta and Pienaar avavilable.

yea i wasnt sure about pienaar going up front but i will take your word for it..

Donovan is equally comfortable on the left (as seen on the US team).

But he is not really a winger who will go all the way down and put in big crosses--he is more likely to cut inside (from either side) and attack towards the center....

Agreed 100%.. (y)

Pienaar is just a little too short to play upfront, we have try Cahill and Fellaini before, don't think any Evertonian would fancy seeing Pienaar upfront.

He is more like our power source in our engine room, and he is most effective when he play in the midfield area, it would a waste to play him upfront.

I am sure looking forward to seeing him play on the left-side, wonder what he is like in crossing the ball on the left and he did cut in and take shots with his right foot and score some goals for us then.

I doubt we did see Donovan ever to start on the left, since he's been effective on the right, but he would certainly switch side during some game, Moyes tends to do that quite often.

call me nuts but id like to see donovan play behind cahill upfront , just to see if it works.

something like........

...............howard
.neville heitinga jagielka baines
................fellaini
.....pienaar arteta bilyaletdinov
...............donovan
.................cahill

i just think that would be a right handful all over the pitch.

Donovan is quik and smart but he is not very big.. he might get pushed off the ball easy in the prem against the likes of world class defenders.. I could be absolutly wrong though which is more often the case.. :)
