What I think is irrelevant, and I think that's what you and people moaning about it are not getting here.

By the rules of the game it is a red card.

That is all there is to it. There is no discussion to be had. You can moan about it all you want, it's a red card.

You have a problem with the rule, not the decision, because there is only one decision that can be made.

"I think this imaginary rule is something we should accept and move on".

I'm saying the ref has given a shocking red to Keane. Our players are obviously not going to be happy about it so he then needs to control and manage the game. Have a word with Grealish saying anymore and I will send you off. Yet other players from other teams can give the ref loads but zero happens. No consistency at all.
Grabs and yanks the hair. That's been established as a red card offence.

You can argue about whether it should be a red card offence but ultimately that's not down to the ref. The ref is there to enforce the laws of the game.

You said lack of players irrelevant- if we had missing players they'd be playing full stop. Subs wouldn't come in to it in that respect

But agree Moyes is shocking with subs.
Using make believe to imagine players are fit is completely irrelevant. We had players on the bench, Beto, Dibling, Rohl. The first move was made on 83 minutes. We had players. He didn’t use them until the end of the game.

That last line of yours is ironic... it's petulant, the kind of thing you are accusing Grealish of. RED card for you for that.
How is it petulant? I'm asking whether your statement of 'adrenaline' being an excuse for a player making a poor decision can be applied as an excuse for refs making what is viewed as poor decisions?

No sarcasm, no intent to belittle, I'm not insulting you. It's merely a counterargument.

Have every player grow their hair a meter long and refuse them to use hairbands and we'll win the league. Opposing players sent off every time they try to grab a shirt as they'll surely get a handful of hair as well. Master strategy
The principle is exactly what I was thinking (but not sure about winning the league!)

Whilst the rules may say it is red it is clearly wrong that a fault hatbisnonly possible on maybe 5% of players is deemed a red card. You literally cannot get that sending off against any Everton player except grealish, how can that be right?

Also for any other violent conduct the level of force is considered, but seems not the case for a frigging hairpull.
