Brentford are well better than us and have been for ages. We have no reasonable expectation to just turn up and beat them.
Wolves however...
Hadn’t won an away game all season before they played us

An experienced ref would’ve ignored Grealish’s claps.Grealish was stupid given the situation, but if Keane hadn't have been sent off then Grealish wouldn't have lost his head.
He jumps with his arm on his back and his hand happens to close on the guys hair rather than his shirt. How does he accidentally grab a full hold of his hair?
5I did.
The rules say you shouldn't do it. Then don't do it.
Sarcastically clapping and gesturing at the ref get's you a booking more often than not.
Jack's problem here is he was stupid enough to do it within 10 minutes of getting booked already for similar.
Don’t underestimate the ability of footballers to cheat. They’ll feel a brush in the barnet and be rolling around in circles.I kind of hope you are right to be honest because a player feigning a hair pull would be quite entertaining.
You was responding to my post directly about it so I assumed that's what you was talking about.I'm clearly not talking about that am I
That’s a red card
Lack of players is irrelevant when the manager refuses to make subs anyway1-1 so predictable marginally better than the weekend better result obviously but we're so close to throwing the season away inevitable with the lack of players
Yeah he plays for the RS.Van Dijk sarcastically claps at refs all the time and never gets carded for all the pearl clutchers
By watching it in real time and recognizing what's going on with the game. Ask yourself this: why didn't the refs give Tarkowski a red after he injured Bueno? (I think that's who it was). Clearly they're able to differentiate between intent with an elbow to the face and unintentional coming together when trying to win the ball (what Tarkowski did). Why can't they apply the same distinction in this scenario with Keane?I agree the context is different, but how do you differentiate between intent with hair pulling
Can’t believe I’m even having to ask that question about top flight football ffs.
Liverpool V City no more than 2 months ago... No yellow. An experienced ref would’ve ignored Grealish’s claps.
It had no material effect on anything, and by sending off a second player - the most high-profile player on the pitch - it puts all the attention on the referee.
Fair enough if it’d been a bad-tempered game - but it was a million miles from that.
Two reds is mad, and that reflects on the ref as much as it does Everton.
Yeah because it's likely the back 4 will have to beI agree, mate. Some of our best starting XI have been from necessity. Moyes hates it and shows that by reverting to his old ways the moment he can.
Looks worse in the clip
