Funnily enough, no. I was probably on GrandOldTeam in its first week many moons ago under a different account name.

I will be more angry if we get to the end of the window without a couple of additions, ie a striker and a right back.
Then, with all our players back, I think it would be easier to judge where we are.
In the league, we are points better than where we were, and without the absentees, I think we would be better.
Fair enough, mate.

I'm normally optimistic as well and I do think there'll be better days but the last two performances were a heap of refuse that is almost inexplicable

The way we absolutely bottled the penalty shoot out shows all you need to know about this club. Anyone can lose a shoot out but there are proper ways to lose.

Just a club where losing and failure is so ingrained that only radical drastic changes will make any difference
We're the very opposite of 'mentality monsters' I predicted before the game we'd have to win it before a penalty shootout as I had no faith we'd have the bottle if it came to spot kicks

A few issues happening alot this season -
Sitting too deep
Sitting off teams (it's Sunderland not Prime Barca)
No urgency, it's all too slow, speed things up FFS.

Why didn't they step onto Sunderland and get stuck in, sitting off Xhaka letting him stroll around playing easy passes, get into them and they don't like it. Proper pissed off. Season is basically done and we're not even in February

Ingrained in the club during Moyes first spell as manager. What club finishes 7th and brings out a DVD to celebrate it?

31 years without a trophy and out with a whimper again.

This team is nothing without KDH, Ndiaye and Grealish. We were never scoring from open play today. Compared to Sunderland our players looked so slow and uncomfortable on the ball.
True, mate. But I think we’re something better with Armstrong and Aznou. Throw Charly in there when he’s healthy. We have options. It’s up to Moyes to arrange the pieces.

This is why a new manager is needed, a manager with a more positive outlook and not one who's worried about being too 'open' all the time

This. And a manager who will freely change his starting XI without hesitation depending on who we’re playing and which match ups against their defence favour us. A manager who is flexible and without blind loyalties to any player or lineup. Needs to be a bit of an a-hole.

Because, like Brentford, they are drilled in playing through a press. Maybe, if you have intelligent forwards and midfielders, you can press, but since our forwards are lacking and our midfield is missing, then you get what you saw today.

I want to know why Tarks didn't take one and put his laces through it.
I know the cool, languid style they're trying to pull off but they're not good enough to do it. If in doubt just blam it. Doesn't look half as bad if you whack it and miss than trying to tap it in and do the same.
