Disappointing to say the least.
My gripe is the negative football, we always go backwards. We were home so should be all out attack.
I doubt anyone would be moaning if we gave it a right good go and went out, but even at home in a cup competition and when we are safe it was all backwards. Backward throw ins, wide men passing it backwards, O'Brien going backwards or taking ages to pass it sideways.
I've a feeling the whole training set up is geared not to lose when the players need freedom.
I'm fine with backs to the wall defending away from home, but at home we should be playing like the class of 92, all out swashbuckling attack.

Positives for me were Dibling, the boy can play and needs minutes, a lot more minutes.
Aznou also looked like he was trying to make an impression, good on him because when I saw him against Roma he looked out of his depth. I thought he did well and that's another positive.

I cannot believe that there are fans excusing the performance today. By highlighting players missing, it then gives an excuse for biting outfought, outthought and outrun! The club has had a very bad day today. Top to bottom, it’s been miles off. I bet castore are happy that the new kit is forever associated with that disgrace today.
That cant be used against Sunderland. They had it worse than us.

People just dont care about winning stuff. They just dont want a relegation fight.

That's what we've become.

Pathetic.

….i’d never have thought we finish the game with Reece Welch and Eli Campbell as our full backs. Two players who most likely will be released at the end of the season.

Says lots I suppose.

I have to admit, all those who talked of a European spot wound me up.
We are a bang average team at absolute best.
Sit back and enjoy the mediocrity and hope for big changes next summer.
There has to be some for any hope of improvement on mid table battler status (which in itself is far better than annual relegation battlers)

A disappointing day but someone has to take the positive view and it may as well be me. No club could sustain the loss of key players that we have and not hit a slump. The league is that tight this year that we might yet get a late run on a European spot once we are back to full strength.

The last couple of years have been awful with the constant fear of relegation and I can accept this year as one of transition.
