This is exactly the kind of game where John 'I'll watch the highlights then add the commentary later' Motson, will say that we haven't a particularly good record against them, having only beaten them x amount of times in 60 years.

Omitting to say that they spent a great deal of it out of our reach, in fact the only mention they got annually was when the Boat Race Route was gone through on Grandstand.

Notice that they were called Fulham Football & Athletic Club, well for a spell they had a dabble in another Sport..

They signed up most of Widnes team, and they used to train on my local sports club, in fact they have more pics on the wall than Google does of them. It was all Supermacs idea tbh.

Me ?

yes, you, Tiff Nidells twin.

It didnt really take off though so he dressed as a clown and started selling burgers.

Berbatov will no doubt stroll around all nonchalant like, managing to appear all over show with consummate ease like he teleports or something. He coulda played rugby, and woulda been 1 of those that somebody slings a long pass out wide and HE'S there again to just tap it down over the line with little effort, under the sticks.... cant even be arsed lad.

Thought this was another old thread when the date said march and not april lol,but on to the match and i am not going to go against the grain of when Everton play fulham at Goodison, it usually means one thing only-it means an everton win [sure we've won last 20 at home] which i think we will do 2-0 today

Are you available to do the West Ham preview Reidy ?

Great work again mate, Going to this one setting off in 45 minutes, it's a shame we don't have more to play for but anyway come on Everton let's batter these. COYB!!!!!!!

There's a couple of trains of thought over where we are as a club and where we should be. For example those of you growing up with Everton in the nineties may be revelling in the relative comfortable finishes and occasional doing over of a top team. For many of us our eyes have seen the glory so everything else is a pale imitation. Finishing sixth with what we've got is about right though, it's just typical that it probably won't be enough for Europe and a bit of a let down as we'd hoped for somewhat more. That Kevin Brock moment is a long time coming again.

Oh no...your previews been cheering me up so much, but this is got me down. Four games left and we got to go out and believe they are all as important as a cup final. You are right about missing the glory moments but they have always come out of the blue at Goodison. The years before 84 and the cup win in 96 were miserable, proper misery. I just don't think we are cut out for steady success but this strangely enough is the closest we have come to it in my lifetime despite no trophy. finishing sixth seems to be the problem but its just a number. we got some exciting players in and others have let us down, but we have looked like a much worse side when we have finished sixth before and there has never been a point in the game when the dice seems so loaded for certain teams.. my mate told me about Taoism..you wake up everything morning, learn from what has happened but let it go, you think where am I and how do I make the most of this and what do I do next. You play Barkley and you buy a centre half. its not deluded to think we can win away to Chelsea and Liverpool, its just tough. so many people go on about sounding like reds but all this ..'no point in this. we not gonna win anything' is pure LFC. Hope you back with the believers soon sir.

Nice one cheeks.

People who think this season isn't over need to man the eff up and grow a pair. This season is over which is mental because we should be in the cup final. But we are not.

8-0 Everton.

And sorry, it is very deluded to think we will win away at Chelsea and Liverpool.

Liverpool beat us even when they have Brad effing Jones in nets, and Chelsea have the bossest players.

Yes there is a chance we will do them. But that chance is tiny. Tiny weeny. There's more chance of BigMacLad getting laid before Freshers week than Everton winning away at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

when I was a lad I would go and sneak in on a Friday night and catch the last ten minutes of Tranmere. There was always a hundred or so fans singing their head off in the away end from places like Torquay. Losing 1 0 or sometimes winning 1 0, it sounded like they were desperate to sneak into 14th in old division4. what a bunch of losers I would think as a glory hunting 12 year old. just glad I've changed a little
