5 points behind, Fulham, Liverpool and West Ham are winnable games. Plus Chelsea have Spurs to play and lets hope United beat Arsenal and Wigan bet Spurs.

You do realise that if we win every remaining game and Chelsea do too, they only have to beat us to finish above us? And they won't lose every remaining game, nor will we win them all. And it's virtually the same with Spurs aside from playing them. So it's not happening, sadly. Then again, is it sadly? We wouldn't win the Europa League anyway, there'd be very little financial gain and it would knacker our squad.

- Fulham got to the final.
- We're football supporters, not investors. Forget about the finances.
- Every time we've been in Europe we have finished higher in the league on average than when not in Europe

Having said that, we're clearly not going to finish top 5 this season.

Even if we did win all of our games, Chelsea or Spurs would have to drop 7 points or Spurs would have to drop 5. Forget about it Mike, it's over.

Defo think being in Europe gives the team that little extra cockyness thats perhaps needed sometimes.

- Erm yeah, two teams get to the final every year. That's how football tournaments work.

- Fair point

- Right, does that not just mean that the teams who have been good enough to get into Europe are better in the league than the teams who couldn't?

If Chelsea win the Europa League and finish in a Champions League spot, does the Europa spot move down to 6th?

Just a thought...

Why are you saying that you have no hope in us winning these games at all? 4 games remaining, anything can happen, the way some people say that the season is over baffles me tbh.

Yes we may be outsiders but there is still a possibility we can pull it off. Your saying that Europa would be pointless to play in, of course it would matter, european football is missed at Goodison.
