I’m talking about where you gave Carrick credit for bringing Maguire back. Carrick didn’t do anything, Maguire just returned to fitness.

Results are not the best way to evaluate performance!
Go look at their line-ups. Maguire did not play regularly when Amorim was in charge, because that clown played3 at the back.

As for this: '...Results are not the best way to evaluate performance!...' Results do not evaluate performance. A blind man can see that! But supporters everywhere will take results over performance every time! Go check some of the teams relegated from the Prem in recent seasons. Lovely football, but down they went...

Lovely football is not the same thing as performance. Results obviously matter, they shouldn’t drive decision making really at all.

Believing what? That Moyes is a cautious coach and most of our squad are not elite level players?

Yeah, I think I will keep believing that 🤷‍♂️
You are deluded ,face facts .
We are lucky to be where we are in the table ,any other season we would be way lower ,Moyes is not getting the best from this squad ,we hardly see a game that we show anything in both halves .
He has played players in positions they are not happy playing even when we have options and most of all he is blatantly refusing to play some that would probably improve the side .
He simply refuses to gamble until we are behind with ten minutes to go and he throws on another forward -who will get even less service as he took a midfielder off or defender off causing a midfielder to go back in defence .I swear a kid at the local school would have more idea how to set these players up.

Shambolic last night...

Our Best CB playing LB, our best CM playing RB and our best CM young talent playing LW.... makes no sense, Moyes absolutely has lost the plot.

Branthwaite been back for 4 games is it? Played CB once, LB twice whilst Keane has played 3 games at CB so clearly Branthwaite cant dislodge Keane, O'Brien certainly can't.

Remember Ruben Anorim playing players out of position and losing most weeks? In comes Carrick and plays the best players in their best positions and wins most weeks.

Moyes is not a winner, 1 trophy in over 1000 games and 28 years! His mentality, set up and constantly playing his favourites who are out of form and shifting players out of position is evidence of exactly the opposite. Yet Everton make him the 5th highest paid manager in the WORLD...

#MoyesOut

Frustrating game and result, but we was the better side to be honest, their counter attack was pretty much their only threat all game, and that's the risk when you're the side pushing on and commiting players forward. Setting up to counter away from home with a few pacey players can always get you a goal like that.

I'd say taking 0 points away feels a bit like we was robbed tbh.

If we're gonna pick any faults in Moyes or the squad it's just the full backs situation is dire, we don't have a proper starter in either position, and it's making us move our best CB over there (which is a crime). No doubt in my mind that Brainthwaite would have dealt with the long switch counter

Respectfully disagree mate - Moyes brand of football is stale. It won't take us any further at all and I really don't see TFG keeping him beyond the Summer.
Took us from relegation fight to challenging for Europe. Not quite sure what some people expect in a year with no CF.

We all know the exact same ‘fans’ would find something to moan about even if we’re in top 5.

as it's been said. playing players out of position is not a tactical masterclass. Armstrong was woefully out of position as a left winger, when we have wingers on the bench. Playing our fastest CB at left back caused the goal last night. I don't believe he'd have lost the foot race last night. A talented CM playing at RB. Why?

Let's see where we are at the end of the season, we are only 5pts better off than last season, his selections and subs/lack of are poor, I'm not a Moyes fan or hater but his playing players out of postion when no need , players like Rohl, Alcaraz etc not getting many minutes is a joke

I think you are replying to the wrong person, I never posted about any of those things 🤷‍♂️

Haven’t we been 13th the previous 2 seasons ? Amd moyes is considered a better manager than dyche and has had 130mil to spend, so anything other than 12th or better is failure

Not sure we were the better side an XG of 0.62 and open play XG of 0.28
We never looked like scoring, like I posted yesterday in our last 18 games we’ve had an XG of over 1, once

square pegs in round holes no pace , no ideas no creativity and not one chance created for Barry ( doubtful he would have taken it )
Garner sorely missed in midfield , Tim and Gana too many stray passes
No pace at the back or up front
Armstrong liost out on the wings
Why didn’t he start Coleman or Patterson at RB
George on the right Skilman on the left and Armstrong with Garner and KDH on the middle
Too predictable and too easy to beat on the counter
Either one of Branthwaite or O Brien at the centre back and that goal wouldn’t have gone in
Tarks was way behind Sesko chasing him back
Moyes thought he was being clever; instead he showed us that he is massively limited and way to conservative.
