Tough to say without knowing exactly who is left but I'd be scared of someone like Red Star that would force us to good to Eastern Europe vs someone half decent

Some impressive teams in the third qualifying round. Marseilles, AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Bilbao. Eastern European teams as you say, are an unknown quantity which makes them dangerous

then for our next round scroll down to the 3rd round and look at the teams listed on the right hand side of the table. There might be some changes but only if some 'easier' teams beat the ones listed in the previous round.

If you get confused by seeding, don't look at the round after that unless we get through as he is currently just using the UEFA coefficient to see who 'should' drop into the fourth round from the Champions' League.

If we're writing off winning the league next season, then winning Europa clearly has the biggest reward. It'd be the one I'd choose.

Apparently the Europa League winners are NOT guaranteed CL Group stage football. It seems the CL entry reserve ONE place for either the CL winner or the Europa winner. A team like Spurs might win the CL and finish outside the top 3 then the Europa winner would come in earlier. So United, as per usual, got the long straw as Real Madrid had already qualified for the CL Group stage.
