7th used to mainly always get you into europe, unless we finished there obvs lol.

So West Brom need to better our result this weekend to stop us having a definite 7th place minimum finish. So Europa league should be confirmed this weekend, that's a bonus, nice to be back in Europe and helps raise our profile.

Mathematically Saints can still catch us also, but they have to play 4 of the top 6 in their last few games so I'm not worrying about them too much

Yeah saints need to win all their games and we need to lose ours. They can have 1 draw as well, but yeah, ha, doesn't really matter because that won't happen.

Anyway, why do people want us to skip the qualifiers? I want to see as much Everton as possible. I highly doubt there'd be anyone too troubling for us to draw so not having all our signings in shouldn't be too bad. It's much better than watching/listening to friendlies, imo.

Yes...if Utd win the EL but are outside the top 4 in PL. (NB the lowest Utd can finish is 7th)
But if Utd finish in top 4 then 7th place had to go into qualifying round
