Double standards mate, hey ho, they seem most upset about it too.

I'm just not his 'equal', heartbroken as you can imagine.

Maybe rather than complaining about my posts they'll answer questions and points now.

It's far easier to turn on a poster than it is to answer the point when the evidence is going more against your beliefs by the day.

Back to reality, the Tory party had the debate and referendum to settle their demons and now they're more disjointed than ever. It was really worth it.
Look PG this is a debating forum not a point scoring forum, we had a disagreement the mods told us to cool it which I did then in two days you seem as I have kept away upset other posters by the way leaving childish messages to me is not the way to sort it you pm me from day one and I gave you detailed reasons on my stance remember? - we all beg to differ - we are all Evertonians - the fact that the ignore button and the alert system still comes through is frustrating if you are trying to ignore someone, by the way PG. I have had two nastier reply on this thread from other posters in hindsight I should have reported them one was a Nazi sign and the other was a national socialist sign - I have and hope to never report anyone - I have never left a negative when that system was in , and was grateful when the mods binned it!
I have also since built friendly relationships even in the negative days when I got negged both of us have left positives on other subjects and even on the thread for each other, By all means debate, but lets keep the personal stuff out - having a joke or two or three is fine as long as it does not get to the stages of of ridiculing a poster in which it may seem a clever way - lets debate on all in the best possible taste ok

Hey mate.

I don't know how you and Pete can keep up with all this rowing against the tide. I add my pennies worth every now and again but I've found myself to be just repeating the same stuff I posted earlier, so what's the point.? I've decided not to come into this thread again. It's become an EU In thread so somebody should change it's name and let them bleat among themselves.;) It ain't gonna change what happens in the real world.

Don't think it's possible to put a thread on ignore, so I was going to put the thread creator on ignore instead so it stops showing on my homepage, but it's an administrator so I can't. Bloody typical.:)

Joey, I don't mean to be rude mate, but read your mates posts before you go down the 'best possible taste route' at the likes of myself.

Getting drunk and trying to win a debate by 'finding nerves' or swearing about the other poster is poor taste mate, I agree. If you're going to do it to others. then don't expect to be above personal criticism.

You have of course not contributed to this yourself, I appreciate that.

Mick is a bad Tory like that ;)

It's just a bit of fun really.....

Interesting that this idea of an EU citizenship is starting to get a bit more leverage (originally mentioned a few pages back in between all the personal animosity).

EU chief negotiator: “Many say ‘we don’t want to cut our links’,” he told the Times. “I like the idea that people who are European citizens and saying they want to keep it have the possibility of doing so. As a principle I like it.”

You wrote "The Chancellor now has a £122BN hole in his budget over the next 3 years due to Brexit, which equates to about 14 years worth of these 'savings'"

To begin with, that £122Bn hole is over 6 years not 3, only £58Bn (58.7 if memory serves) is actually down to Brexit with the rest of it due to other Government changes and a whole host of other changes......
The £122BN hole isn't over 6 years, as the forecast didn't cover 6 years.

one I don't drink as I am in ill health, no banned swear words were used, just your interpretation either accept constructive criticism or just don't answer my post ok!

What a good idea, we will then see just how many people really want to be EU citizens. I expect there will also be tax implications in the future. Oh and when the EU army is set up and they pick an argument with Russia they can then be drafted....obviously that would never happen though.....so, as a principle I like it too...... Every day brings another load of nonsense.......

Mate aren't you overreacting a bit. It is very unlikely that all 27 member states will agree to this; to the detriment of good people like @atrottel .

Hmm I assume the Russia war thing was satire. It's only natural that Verhofstadt is positively inclined towards this idea; he's a federalist with a pan-European dream. Since he became negotiator his twitter account has turned into a show where Scottish nationalists and remainers express their love for him and beg him for support; which is quite frankly highly amusing. Anyhow I wouldn't believe all the things you read about him. Nothing wrong with him even though he's a federalist. He is quite capable and not a bad human being. I am not his biggest fan btw; he leans a bit too much to the right side of the political spectrum for me. I am a left-liberal. I did like his second burgermanifest however.

Also this topic is becoming a bit emotional. Calmness and all.

For me the whole reason I wanted out of the EU was demonstrated in the last couple of days. The Premier of Malta (a piddling little island in the Med with a Pop'n of about a few hundred thousand has a vote) that vote being equal to Germany, France and us, which really to me is a nonsense.
His vote can affect hundreds of millions of people on mainland Europe, this just beggars belief.

Oh and beware the Blair Witch project, he is looking to gather upset remain voters to block Brexit. And if that is not enough flipping John Major sticking his oar in!
