i keep thinking this, but the polls arent showing it..and they are always right :hayee:

its a shame they dont have a more charismatic/strong leader or they would clean up...the bi-election with them vs goldsmith will be interesting

They made reasonable gains in the Whitney bi-election, in what has traditionally been about as safe a Tory seat as you can imagine. Considering Cameron was the departing Tory too...

*throws laptop in the sea

I love how Farage has been branded as some kind of man of the people. A former banker who went to Dulwich College, has been a politician for 25 years and is backed by a range of wealthy and influential people, not least of whom are the Barclay's, who own the Daily Telegraph. I'm not sure quite how he could be more 'political elite' if he tried.
Wher do I mention Farage in that post Bruce?
Are you just jealous his 25 year crusade those who knock him like you can not disagree he got the referendum result right he then went on to say that Trump would win not a bad years work for Nigel he's a marmite figure that the next leader of the free world respects like him or not!

It has been achieved on June the 23rd the is a football forum I post on that people agree or disagree - I tell you for one the next GE will there be all this fuss what ever party gets in NO - people some reluctantly accept the democratic vote, such a pity we never had a vote on whether we should invade Iraq hey ???

No idea why the likes of the DWP and the NHS need access to your browsing history. To be honest, I'm surprised they didn't manage it so the BBC do too.
George Orwells 1984 was spot on Bruce;)
the BBC Bruce if you have no tv license and buy a TV for gaming the shops immediately contact them on every TV they cross reference it if you are not on the list for a TV license they contact you.
Its happened to someone in my family so they are alert of license dodging in every step of the way!
He had to explain it was just for gaming and the reluctantly accepted it after 3 final warnings of a fine!

All because of that stupid woman Merkel......

After the EU MEP's voted to freeze Turkeys progress into the EU, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim warned cutting off talks with the bloc would be far more damaging to Europe than Turkey.

Keen to hammer home the seriousness of freezing negotiations, a menacing President Tayyip Erdogan threatened to join a security alliance with Russia and China.

He warned Turkey were prepared to open the border gates to let the migrants leave if the EU continues to make threats.

Mr Yildirim said: ”We are one of the factors protecting Europe. If refugees go through, they will flood into Europe and take it over, and Turkey prevents this.

“I accept that cutting off ties with Europe would harm Turkey, but it would damage Europe five-to-six times more.”

Members of the European Parliament voted 479 to 37 in favour of a non-binding motion urging the European Commission and national governments to freeze negotiations which have been going on for 11 years but have long been stalled.

Firstly, British MEPs will have voted, so to pin the blame on a person who didn't vote is bizarre. Secondly, the leave campaign was rampant with threats around Turkey joining, so surely you're happy that they aren't?
