If the Remain campaign had led with stone cold figures about the benefits of membership, nobody in their right mind could have voted to leave.

Didn't because they couldn't. So don't complain you've been lied to about £350m. Didn't cost the taxpayer £9m to tell you those 'facts'
neither.

Promised to change the EU from within since Maastricht - Never happened. Signed the Lisbon treaty without my consent or yours....Of course they know best.

I'm not remotely arsed about who said what. Both sides had their Tom Peppers. That's what politicians do for a living.

Your complaint should be that your side are capable of deceiving you, but not me. Like 17m others, I saw through the lies your side told, combined with the dissatisfaction that we had already experienced after nearly 25 years of corporate consolidation & political hegemony.

But how dare little old me be ungrateful...

I don't have a side, I was pragmatic to all this. I'm not ideologically for the EU. I studied it as best I could and voted remain. I still think that was the better option.

I saw through plenty of the cock and bull stories of some Remain campaigners, so I'm not sure whatyour point is.

Yep. It's ran it's course.

I suppose that's some sort of statement of neutrality or balance on your behalf?

Ok, mate.

Not gonna wash I'm afraid. Not until you post a few of these cock and bull stories with the same frequency & critique of their billshut.

You haven't, and you have no intention of doing so.

The boys are on hand to try and close the debate agin. Wooooo.

How many full revolutions does this thread have to make before you yourself get bored of the repetition?

Oh....hang on.

Yep. It's ran it's course.
it has mate, all its doing is bat and balling with one lot looking for doom under every rock, and the likes of us just posting for the sake of balance.
I don't know how we fit into there nice little brexit box as both of us are left leaning in are views something that has been long overlooked.
The postal workers directive.
squeeze on the lower paid.
job insecurity.
treatment of Greece
lowering of standards of living loads of other reasons , but forget that lets talk about lies,
I am out of this thread till something actually happens.
carry on debating its up to you free world and all that.

Oh....hang on.

you think politicians lying is ok so I've no idea how you think You can get on a high horse moralistically after that.

Remainers have consistently criticised the campaign on both sides of the debate in this thread.

The leavers are still peddling the same lies about theirs.

You've got a cheek to mention neutrality like that considering you haven't pulled Old blue up for the £350m figure 2 pages ago

WWIII - agreed, mostly unfounded crap.
Households losing £4k+ per year - based on one specific and unlikely scenario.
The economy is going to crash immediately - no it's not (although I do believe we'll be noticeable worse off down the line).

I think I've posted some of this before.

And with regards to the debate, the facts and situation are changing every day.

Why do you think that?

you think politicians lying is ok

Show me where I said that please? I said it's what they do for a living...

How noble of them. Time to accept the result. The argument wasn't good enough before, it isn't now.

The leavers are still peddling the same lies about theirs.

Oh yeah, those racist, fascist lies? Bad leavers...And they call them 'remoaners' as well y'know?

Where did I say I was neutral, or make any statement alluding to it? Once again, show me?

Oh, that's right... I didn't. I asked Pienaar's if the statement he made was a claimed neutrality. And he's been far from neutral; although a lot less rabid than one or two I could mention :)

Why should I pull up @Old Blue 2 ? Don't agree entirely with what was said about the dough, the amount and what it could/should be spent on - but I disagree with paying the EU anything anyway.
