Organisation that I support in principle anyhow invests heavily in the place where I live that had suffered decline and I find it another reason to support that organisation.

You're right, I'm a vacuum where principles are concerned.

Do you read this stuff before you post it?

You wrote......."My reasoning related to Liverpool is simple. The EU invested money into Liverpool in a way Westminster would not."

Did you write that, yes or no ?

So dont get all huffy with me, you spelt out your reason for voting remain, or don't you read your own stuff......

Yes. I have no idea what your point is?

I had already guessed that......

You're trying to falsely frame the scope of my argument being purely based upon the major investment by the EU into Liverpool when you've read dozens of posts of mine with other arguments in.

You also seem to think that people using this investment to help justify their point of view is in some way indicative that they are principle-less? No?

So now you do have some idea, even if misinterpreted, of what I was suggesting....that's good.....

Even if you take that statement is fact, it wouldn't have been spent in Liverpool.
Are you Mystic peg or something tell us where our new stadia will be built without EU funds then? with the help of the council my guess is on the docks site with a massive infrastructure set up to get there and outlets nearby - stop the myth of the EU it was our funds that they used, I agree the development is a good one for Liverpool, but I have seen utter waste elsewhere one development won 2nd place as the worst development eyesore in the country so do not think they have a magic wand with our funds!

Okay now I defo have no idea what our stadium has to do with this.

£350m pw to the NHS.

Ring any bells.

I have before me some of the leaflets that were issued in the run-up to voting day.

To quote verbatim from one of them:
FACT: Britain's offical bill for EU membership is £19 billion per year or £350 million every week - the cost of a new hospital. You have to decide whether what we get back from the EU is worth this.
(I have replicated the above exactly as it is. 'Fact' in red bold and part of the sentence in black bold.)

Nothing there that says £350m pw to the NHS. It simply says what we hand over each week is the cost of... I can scan it in and post it if you wish.

From a 'Remain' leaflet:
"Our place in the world
Britain's influence in the world would be undermined if we left the EU. Our leading diplomats warn that outside Europe we would lose influence around the world."
Really??? What influence? And have we seen our influence crash and burn since 23rd June? What a load of tosh!!!

And from Mr. Cameron's £9 million+ leaflet:
"The UK has secured a special status in a reformed EU"
Yeah, the other 27 ignore us most of the time...
