It is our money isn't it?

One of the biggest benefits of EU membership is the distributive effect of the EU's support to poorer regions.

I think this benefit is often overlooked - it's not perfect but the EU reaches parts that national governments often don't.

The question is why we cannot trade more within the single market rather than destroy the existing arrangement which cannot be bettered for either parties in terms of a trade deal.

Brexit is not done, far from it.

Brexit is done mate, and every day that goes by, with each new piece of good news people are getting behind it. No end of remainers are now wondering what the fuss was about. Trump getting into the WH and Canada, Australia, NZ etc saying please let's do a deal just adds to the momentum.....

Unsurprisingly I disagree totally. Only 37% (and I'm surprised it's that high) think the Government are doing a good job on Brexit.

The BoE action saved the Brexit's blushes but even after an Indian summer winter eventually arrives.

nz minster was on farming today talking about it, said they were willing to do a deal and to look at it as a chance for both countries to benefit from it.
On a side note anybody keeping up with the currency thing in India madness.

Of course mate, I would expect nothing different. Winter is certainly arriving for Germany and the EU.......

We may bug the lives out of each other with our views on the EU/Brexit etc but we're all blues and I think we're all mature enough to exchange contrasting views amicably - that's the impression I get from this thread - even @Old Blue 2 :p

Yeah, I just hope (as I'm sure everyone else does) that when the chips fall in the future and things settle down (if that EVER happens), it will be for the betterment and best interests of the UK. We are all urinating into the breeze at present, so to speak...

Someone threw money at Liverpool so you vote for them......

Organisation that I support in principle anyhow invests heavily in the place where I live that had suffered decline and I find it another reason to support that organisation.

You're right, I'm a vacuum where principles are concerned.

Do you read this stuff before you post it?
