may should cal a GE and settle it once and for all imo!
or if it was a large tory majority would they go to the courts?

A general election can never be a one-issue affair, particularly when both Tory, Labour and Liberal would probably all advocate Remain. Would the electorate suddenly all vote UKIP just to make their point on this one issue?

It will most likely require an Act of Parliament which may have difficulty certainly in the House of Lords.

It will require the Government to provide much greater detail and clarity as to their position if Brexit goes forward.
So the government may have to show the negotiations to the EU so we could end up now with a crap deal in leaving by showing the EU their poker hand so be it if we get a bad deal on exit blame the remoaners!
Its no surprise by the way I heard over sovientary the Government had a hard case to prove under president as most government bills are passed by the house!
I heard a few weeks ago this would probably, for the the law to be changed I did post it somewhere!
As I stated may well either fetch the signing of article 50 in earlier now or just wait or appeal?
causing more uncertainty ???????.....................

Could someone give the uneducated me a brief idea on what this means please?

Parliament will have to vote before the Prime Minister can activate the piece of an EU treaty which will trigger the two year negotiation process for us to leave the EU.

Basically, there will be a debate in the Commons and the Lords with a vote. It will almost certainly pass the Commons with lots and lots of abstentions. As for the Lords, I don't know.

It's about sovereignty. The Leave campaign wanted sovereignty to rest in our parliament, and this means that it does. Interestingly, they're not too pleased.

The vote in the Commons would have to be a free vote, no way that party whip discipline could be enforced on this vote, especially by the Tories.

Sounds like a bloody mess.
